Hola amigos. Más que una plataforma blockchain en la que comparto mis creaciones #hive representa para mí una gran familia. Por ello quiero mostrarles parte del proceso de elaboración del plato tradicional venezolano para épocas de navidad.
Las hallacas son un delicioso platillo tradicional elaborado a base de masa de 🌽 maíz precocido, guiso contentivo de diferentes tipos de carnes; cerdo, vaca, gallina, tocino, aliños, semillas como aceitunas y pasas. Estos ingredientes varían según la región. Nosotros preparamos una combinación de sazón caraqueño-oriental.
El día en que se elaboran las hallacas solemos hacer un pequeña celebración de agradecimiento y relato de anécdotas familiares, especialmente recordamos las navidades pasadas y empezamos a planificar para las futuras. Generalmente llevamos todos algún pasapalos para degustar durante el proceso, también ponemos música (bajito volumen) y tomamos alguna bebida.
La familia ha ido creciendo, lo que aligera más todo el trabajo previo a la realización de la hallaca en sí. Este es el momento en que todos los ingredientes ya están listos nada más de disponerlos para armar las hallacas. Debo resaltar que ya por durante varios años mi hermana @linita ha llevado la batuta para hacer este exquisito plato, su hija menor se encarga de los panes y las galletas y el resto de la familia colaboramos con los gastos y parte de la preparación en general.
Así vivimos en Venezuela esta tradición.

Hello friends. More than a blockchain platform where I share my creations #hive represents for me a big family. That's why I want to show you part of the elaboration process of the traditional Venezuelan dish for Christmas time.
Hallacas are a delicious traditional dish made from 🌽 precooked corn dough, stew containing different types of meats; pork, beef, chicken, bacon, seasonings, seeds such as olives and raisins. These ingredients vary according to the region. We prepare a combination of caraqueño-oriental seasoning.
The day the hallacas are made we usually have a small celebration of gratitude and family stories, especially remembering past Christmases and start planning for future ones. Generally we all bring some snacks to taste during the process, we also play music (low volume) and have a drink.
The family has been growing, which lightens all the work prior to the making of the hallaca itself. This is the moment when all the ingredients are ready, just to arrange them to assemble the hallacas. I must emphasize that for several years my sister @linita has been in charge of making this exquisite dish, her youngest daughter is in charge of the breads and cookies and the rest of the family collaborates with the expenses and part of the preparation in general.
This is how we live this tradition in Venezuela.
