The war crimes include: rape, killing of innocent Ukrainian civilian population, which amounts to crimes against humanity and an abberation of the International Humanitarian Laws. Just within last week, about 7,160 civilians were affected by the Russian military airstrikes, with above 3,000 killed and other 3,000 injured within a week.

The efforts made by both United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC), has been posed with one challenge, which is the infiltration of Russian spies in the selected investigation crue.

The Dutch intelligence service has uncovered a Russian military agent attempting to use a false identity to infiltrate the International Criminal Court (ICC) which is investigating accusations of war crimes in Ukraine.Source

This false identity is said to be from the Russian extraction and is believed to be working for the Russian government.

Sergey Vladimirovich Cherkasov created an elaborate cover story dating back years to attempt to enter the Netherlands as a Brazilian national for an internship at the Hague-based ICC in April, the agency’s head told the Reuters news agency on Thursday.Source

It should be noted that, spying isn't a new event in the cases like this, although, the Russian government have denied not spying any investigations going on, but the reality is that there are numerous Russian spies in Hague to know and give intel to the Russian government about the happenings around the war crimes investigation in Hague.

The Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) said in a statement that the man, who went by the alias Viktor Muller Ferreira, was picked up at a Dutch airport.
He was declared an undesirable alien and put on the next flight back to Brazil, where he faces court proceedings, it added.Source

This shows how tactical the investigation team is, which is supposed to be due to the kind of task ahead for the team.

This shows the ultimate goal of the Russian government to get information about the ongoing ICC investigation. We classify this as a high-level threat,” Akerboom added, saying the ICC had accepted him for an internship.

ICC spokesperson Sonia Robla said the court was grateful to Dutch authorities for the operation and the exposing of security risks.
“The ICC takes these threats very seriously and will continue to work and cooperate with The Netherlands,” she said.Source

This kind of threat is very serious and shouldn't be taken for granted for justice to previllege and for the sake of the innocent Ukrainians who have lost their lives and homes within this war period.

No information have been gotten from Brazil with respect to the trial of the said spy. More information will be brought to you about the Russian spy from Brazilian descent.

Thanks!

Grace and peace to you all
