Breaking stuff and throwing yourself in a challenge like this might make you forget about so many things. I think cooperation is very important and we as a society have been lacking this for a long time.
We can't choose how and where we are born. We can't choose the parents, the social status when we are just a baby. But once we grow, we can choose our attitude. It is the greatest freedom of them all.
I also find that only surviving is not living. It's just killing time. From all of the fears, I think this is the worst :living for nothing than bare necessities. A horrible reality for some who just move numbed throughout their life. I dream of a society where people will wake up every day feeling the joy of doing what they love. That would be awesome.
I think that a lot of us leave our attitude up to events that take place, reactive rather than active.
Perhaps this is where art comes into it heavily, everyone can be an artist of some kind, no matter what they have available or are lacking.
