NEWBIES INITIATIVE PROJECT PHASE || TASK 9

About two weeks ago, we had another newbies initiative session where we were given a project to do, since we are gradually coming closer to the end of the program. We were asked to team up and brainstorm about ideas we can introduce to the Hive Ecosystem. It was actually a very interesting task to do and my partner and I worked hand in hand to put an idea together. We were meant to be three in a group, but we couldn’t find a third member to team up with, so that makes just two of us.

My partner for this task and of course my only team member was @dfreitesp and we both brought up so many ideas, discussed on how it can be implemented to help the Hive Ecosystem and at the end of it, we were able to pick one of our ideas.

On behalf of my partner and I, I present to you:

Our project is themed ‘HIVE UPDATE’ and it is a platform which will contribute to the growth of Hive and the people on the blockchain.You must be wondering how, and also the way HIVE UPDATE works. Here you go:

Hive Update is an initiative where all members of Hive can easily get updates about the opportunities and important information or announcements available in the Ecosystem. It is a place where updates about Hive will be sourced and posted so that members of the Ecosystem can easily find the available contests, prompts, new tokens (and probably how to earn them), new communities, giveaways, and every other opportunity that can help a user grow.

WHY HIVE UPDATE?: Information they say, is key. As we all know, we can’t see all available opportunities on hive on our personal feeds or get to know about every contests that might be going on somewhere on the blockchain, even if it might be one we would have loved to participate in. Hive update will be designed in such a way to help bring all those opportunities closer to you and help everyone grow as a community. You won’t need to search all around the blockchain for available new opportunities or even announcements because Hive Update will bring it closer to you.

The team will work hand in hand to carefully source for quality information and updates about the blockchain that needs to be seen by every member. It will be a go-to platform for first hand information about Hive, for every Hive member.

Personally, I will contribute to the project by being very active to help the team to source for information that will be beneficial to Hive members, new prompts, contests, and so on. I will also be in charge of rewarding members that tags the platform to information they think might be beneficial to other Hive members after it must have been reviewed to be a worthy content to be shared on the platform.

So, this is the project that my partner @dfreitesp and I have come up with and this post is our submission. We look forward to your review.
