NUTURING GENUINE CONNECTIONS || HPUD

When we talk about love most of the time, the first thing that comes to mind is that it is something we give to other people. While that is very correct, love is in various forms because it cuts across all kinds of relationships and it extends to oneself as well. Giving yourself love and caring for yourself builds a very radiant and positive energy within you, which radiates to the people around you. Simply, you should love yourself in order to love other people the right way. Self-love is a really great tool to help in giving love to the people around us.

Love is a really beautiful thing and while some think of it as a weakness and try to suppress it in some cases, it is also a source of strength that brings out the best in us. Love is kind, selfless, empathetic, forgiving, tolerating, caring...I could go on an on. It is the main ingredient that brought about this world we live in: God's love for us. Extending love to other people in all shapes and forms is just very beautiful, and any act of love can never be to small. Love and care comes hand in hand in a way, because honestly, there is no way you will love someone and not care for them.

As beautiful as all these sounds, love has proven to be a scarce commoditity lately. The truth is that you can know your own heart and actually love the other person selflessly and they don't feel the same way. Trust me, I am not even talking about romantic relationships now, I am generalizing. People are selfish nowadays and I always say that people that genuinely love and care for themselves are very lucky. To know you will go extra length for a person and they will do the same for you is quite rich!

Positive relationship is about having an healthy relationship with a person. There has been stories where people get into toxic relationships and find it hard to leave because they claim they also love the other person. Positive relationships help the overall health of a person, especially the mental health. It is very important to be in a positive relationship with other people, for that kind of relationship to actually thrive. It contributes to personal development, growth and the overall wellness of the people involved.

Positive relationships also require effort from both or all parties involved because it has to be mutual. To maintain positivity in a circle or any form of relationship, understanding is a very important feature to be explored always. You will be able to tolerate someone you understand, and that is also where communication comes in. In any kind of relationship, communication is key and this cannot be overemphasized. It is important to communicate to the other person or persons how you feel about a certain thing in the most healthy way possible.

Love, care, and positive relationship is very important because it makes our connection with other people more genuine and adds quality to our lives.

It is another edition of HPUD and I am so excited (as always) to be a part of it this month. I coverted my HBD to HIVE last night using HiveHub.dev and the transaction was very smart and smooth.

I converted 9.515 HBD and it was equivalent to 32.112 HIVE. I had 1 HIVE in my wallet already, which I won from being one of the 'hive influencers of the week' last week. Adding that to the recently coverted HIVE, I was having a total of 33 HIVE; approximately. Deep down, I wished I had up to 40 HIVE to power up because I would have hit 800HP. However, when I powered up, my HP went from 760HP to 793HP. My goal for the month is to reach 1000HP on or before the next Hive Power Up Day.
