"Companies like Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Nvidia will take further price cuts on their graphics processing units (GPUs) to sell whatever remaining inventory they have."

Factors

• Low price of bitcoin, of Ethereum is a factor for which many miners have turned off their racks for months or weeks, depending on the country, it is no longer convenient to mine due to the high costs.

• Increase in electricity costs.

• Increase in the cost of living. As a result of the rising cost of living, many people now face high bills for food, utilities, heating and energy; therefore, purchasing new computer hardware is not a priority, particularly considering that doing so would simply result in increased electricity costs.

• This transition period, waiting for the launch of Ethereum to prof of stake creates uncertainty in ethereum miners who do not know what they will be with that hardware. Some mining equipment, due to its age and cost/benefit, may become obsolete and will be offered for sale in second-hand markets.

• What all these factors are doing is flooding the used graphics market more and more, with increasingly lower prices.

All this means that manufacturers cannot reduce their stock and should continue to reduce prices at least in September according to rumors and what is happening in the market.
