My First Photography Portfolio - How I Snagged it for F͟R͟E͟E͟!

Who would of known after three years of playing around with my husband’s camera that I would be pursuing a side profession as a photographer?

I sure didn’t.

We wanted a camera to take our own family photos to save money but it has turned into much more than just that.

Being apart of this blockchain has highly sparked more of my interests in photography. From the challenges to the different communities and learning from you all my love for it has really grown. There’s just something about snapping photos and then editing them that makes an idea become a magical reality.

Capturing the moment and then awakening the colors to bring a picture to its best life just brings me a lot of joy. The best part is sharing your final masterpiece.

From family photos, to blogging, to paid events and celebrations and soon to selling exclusive stock images online I have had so much fun on this learning journey. I’ve been able to bring in extra monies for my family by doing something I love to do.

I have been wanting to get some hard copies of some of my best photos in order to show interested clients (mainly friends and family and their associates) the type of work I do - both photo and crocheting wise.

My MIL came across this great deal that ZNO (a next gen photobook company) was offering.

Their little black photo book normally priced at $50.00 was F͟R͟E͟E͟!!

All I would have to pay was shipping and handling which was a little over $7.00.

Well in order to get this deal you have to have a Facebook account. That’s the only way you would see the coupon code for this deal. I deleted my account a couple of years ago so that wasn’t going to work. Then I remembered my husband and I still had a business account on there that we hadn’t deleted so I went with that.

Once I was logged in I couldn’t find the deal any more. 😧 It usually floats around but you have to catch it in time. However, they do provide this offer quite often.

Instead, I messaged ZNO through messenger to get my free book. I like free and I was determined to get mine for free. 😁😎

They ask you a few questions and require you post a link to where they can find your photos. I dropped my Hive link so they could see all the photos I share. They want to be sure you are a serious photographer and are really going to use this album for your profession.

Within a day I received a message I was approved, ordered my portfolio and received it 5 days later.

I don’t have a code to give - they are highly against sharing it - but if you have a FB account or know someone who does and would like to receive one of these books, I highly recommend you try. Don’t take my word for it, take my photos for it 😜.

Below I show you details of the portfolio so you can see the quality for yourself:

The ordering process is pretty straight forward and easy to figure out. You get to choose 24 photos!

Based on the photos you select they pick a cover photo for you but you can change it and choose your own. You can also put a name on the spine to personalize it as I have.

It has a very thick sturdy hardback cover which raises the quality even more.

You can choose a color of your choice for the very back of the portfolio. I chose to stick with black because it looked sophisticated and matched my cover photo.

There are several ways you can layout your photos. You can fit them as I have here or make them take up more of the page. You can have one side with a slighter bigger dimension than the other but I liked the even look.

Here I chose to have one page overlap into the next. It caused the other picture to be smaller but I like the way it turned out. I think it creates a pretty cool effect.

As you can see the photos are mounted on a thick white substrate. I really love how thick and solid these pages are. This little black book was made to last.

Some of you may recognize the photos on these pages because I shared him right here with you on the blockchain!

I hope all interested photographers will be able to grab one. You won’t be disappointed. I love having this portfolio to quickly show prospects my work.

Let me know if you get one! 😃
