The Cross Culture community, was created by @whatamidoing.

We look for ways in which cultures can become crosscrossed and enlightening while going beyond stereotypes associated with certain culture.

Cross Culture's daily bulletin aims to bring to light all authors whose articles would otherwise remain unnoticed and lost in the platform, therefore we tend to reward authors who create quality posts, giving them a fair chance to establish themselves on the platform.

Exploring A Sikh Place Of Worship, A Visit To Gurudwara Sri Data Bandi Chor Saahib, Gwalior by @preets
It was somewhere in between 1617 and 1619, Guru Hargobind Sahib was detained in Gwalior Fort by emperor Jehangir. Later He was released but not alone, he managed to release 52 Hindu kings with him all of them too were detained for various political reasons. So Bandi means imprisoned and chor means released. So after this event Guru Sahib got the title of Bandi Chor. To celebrate this event, in the memory of Guru Hargobind Sahib, this beautiful Gurudwara was bulit in 1970-80. Gurudwara Sri Data Bandi Chor Sahib is located in the Gwalior fort itself. Though it a place of worship for Sikh people but yes people of any faith can come here and pay their homage to the Eternal Master.
Ashanti Chiefs Gathered For A Ceremony In Ghana by @mcsamm
Over the weekend, a traditional gathering was organized to commemorate a durbar action in one of Ghana's cities in the Ashanti area. The Akan are the largest ethnic group, and they continue to share more of their way of life. In such a meeting, the Akans demonstrate their beliefs and traditions in a variety of ways. Among them are the outfits they'll be wearing to the gathering. Each of these clothes has a unique name, and each of these names has its own significance and symbolism. Each town in the Ashanti area has a chief who is in charge of the township in his or her domain. The citizens of the different towns have a great deal of respect for the chiefs who control them. This meeting was packed with chiefs and elders from the many towns in the Ashanti area, all there to assist and grace the occasion. As a result, the majority of the activities and culture expressed came from the leaders of the many communities that attended the meeting.
Keris , A Work of Art, That Is Almost Extinct by @lebah
Keris is a traditional weapon for Indonesians, mainly in Java and among Malay people. Some Asean countries may have the tradition... The keris is not only a weapon but a symbol of honor for the Javanese. Keris has a philosophy of each form. A keris maker is called an Empu. A great master will make a keris according to the character of the customer. He would perform a ritual of fasting for up to 40 days for a keris for nobles in Java before forging iron and steel for the keris material.
Cadiz Market // Mercado De Cádiz by @cuvi
In the heart of the old city of Cádiz is the food market. Its old rectangular walls remain intact as they were centuries ago when it was a convent. The walls of the old convent surround a newly constructed building where you can buy fresh produce at a good price. In the old days, the area was filled with stalls that were set up every day, hot or cold. Wind or rain. Now, thanks to the new building, the stalls are fixed under a roof that protects the citizens... There is something for everyone. From cooked seafood to homemade coquetas. Cheese and ham dishes paired with a good wine. You can't leave without trying the chicharrones gaditanos (pork rinds).
