We live in the countryside, where many trees and fruit-bearing plants grow.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with this fruit. We live in the bukid part, but I had never tasted or eaten it before. My spouse told me earlier that it's edible and even picked some to show me that they eat it—lol. It was only this afternoon that I noticed it actually bears a lot of fruit.

Look, there's so much fruit, and only the birds have been eating it—even my nieces and nephews who visit here haven't noticed it yet. I rarely get to this part of the yard because I'm so busy with housework and looking after my toddler. It was also close to the edge of the rice field, so that's why I didn't notice it.

Given the density of its somewhat small leaves, you wouldn't really notice that the tree bears fruit unless you looked at it from up close.

" So, this turns out to be Seryales," that's the name of this fruits. My husband told me.

I was really amazed that he eats the fruit of this tree, so I got curious and picked some of the brown or maroon ones haha and showed them to him. However, he told me that the ones I picked weren't quite ripe enough and wouldn't be sweet yet; apparently, they need to be truly brownish or dark red in color to be delicious.

I tasted one of the fruits I picked, and the inside looked like this—the color reminded me of kiwi. Haha, but my husband was right: it wasn't sweet yet. So I gave him everything I had gathered, and he ate it all—it would have been a waste to throw it away.

This the green Seryales fruit; there are so many more of them compared to the brown or maroon ones, so I still have to wait for some of them to ripen. Hehe.

Also, if my nieces and nephews come over again tomorrow, I'll tell them about Seryales I'm sure they'll be happy, and they'll like this fruit.

By the way, I take a photo of clusters of large red ants on a tree near Seryales.

That's all for today, Thankyouuu for reading till the end of this post. Also I just want to say Thankyou for supporting my blog, God bless you all. Peace and Love. 🫰🏻✨💐

The cover of this the blog is edited on Chatgpt but all the photos I use are all mine.

This fruit is really interesting—I’ve never seen it either; it doesn’t grow around here. I think it’s great that you discovered it in your backyard and that it’s edible—you’ll get the chance to try some that are really sweet.

On the other hand, those big ants are impressive—they look like hard-working warriors.

Yeah. I really want to taste the sweet part of it—the part that's truly ripe, hehe. Thanks for stopping by! 🤍

I’ve never tried Seryales either! Now I’m curious how it tastes when it’s fully ripe. It’s amazing to discover a fruit you’ve never tried growing right in your own backyard 😊

Haha, true. I was actually surprised that this is edible, and thanks to the bird that brought it here—that's why it grew and is now bearing fruit.
