Last night I went to a party with my husband to a friends house, and well when I arrived at the place I could witness how my friend was stressed, and of course it's not easy just the fact of choosing the date, time, making a budget is not easy at all.
And if to that we add choosing the ideal place for the evening, or whether to do it in our own home, and then define the guest list, spend time to design the invitations, or even send to make the design of the cards, and face the issue of food and drink are things that cause a lot of stress.
I saw my friend in that state of exhaustion and the first thing I did was to approach her and tell her that I was available if she needed my help, of course just because we are guests doesn't mean that we can't collaborate with our friends.

I understand what you are saying, I have had to deal with these types of stressful situations, it is best to save money and hire someone to take care of those details.
To deal with people and finances is not easy. I think it is mote the people who stress you
