It is not easy to talk about the end of something, much less the end of an empire. When established conditions become norms that are complied with by majorities, they become imperial impositions.
My country was or rather was part of a powerful empire, which over the years was crumbling to the point that it lost all the provinces and territories conquered.
In modern times few empires are preserved, but nevertheless there are still imperial conditions that are under the control of people and their ways of acting.
