In today's entry entitled "The penultimate resource", I was inspired by the spelling and the penultimate point of a text as an emphatic resource when we authors want to draw the attention of our dear readers.
Writing about the penultimate point of a text as an emphatic resource, implies ignoring Derek Humphry and his ideas expressed in his book on "The last resort", where he addresses an adult reader, well prepared, who wants to be informed.
Derek Humphry's idea is to bear witness in case one day, in case of terminal illness, he could find himself in that crucial moment when suffering becomes so unbearable, and the value of dignity as a penultimate resource to be at peace in himself.
