This issue of water rights is a complex topic because although for many of us water comes to us as a service that when we pay we will not have any problem to continue consuming it, in other countries it is not the same, for example; I have read and seen endless news of how in African countries water is scarce and the little that exists is not healthy, and not accessible to people of limited resources.
In short, water has become a private good, which is why international organizations for the defense of human rights have created campaigns to make water a human right, where people can have a sufficient, regular and adequate supply of drinking water.
