My third season with Splinterlands (first in Gold III)- Splinter Stats Season #74 Report Card

It has been three seasons since I have delved into Splinterlands. My initial goal was to be passive investors of DEC since I thought it was undervalued. The economic activity behind the DEC creation is quite spectacular. The human effort put to mint new DEC looks undervalued as it earns about 1-2 cents even in GOLD level. Moreover, DEC at its peak was around 1.5 cents. DEC is down almost 15 times.
However, as time goes on, I got almost addicted to the gameplay. I have upgraded my monsters, mainly focusing on water, currently at level 4. Next goal for water is level 6. My other elements are still at level 2, am planning to upgrade to level 4.

My initial goal was to keep the win ratio over 1 which I was successful as the season ratio is around 1.2. It is down a little bit since I am playing in gold III where my monsters are quite outmatched since the common level of summoners in that level is 6 whereas mine highest level is 4 for water element and only 2 for other elements.

My current card power is around 64K. Therefore, I had to rent around 36K to reach GOLD III level which cost me around 984 DEC. Occasionally I rent cards to improve my ranked play which cost me 25 DEC.

I am one of the largest DEC HODLers, and therefore, receiving a hefty amount of SPS daily. I mostly converted my SPS to DEC to earn more SPS and buy some SPL cards for more CP.
It has been an entertaining season for me since this is the first time I am playing in GOLD level and also, a little bit overwhelming since my monsters are outmatched (level 4 vs level 6) against common opponents. However, I can still fulfill my daily quest with luck and some strategies against stronger opponents. I am excited about new reward system upgrades, let us see what is ahead.
