What makes you think Fury rates himself. This was his entrance to the fight.

Last night I watched part of the fight between Fury and Wilder at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. I say part of the fight as I switched off as it was so one sided. In the end his corner threw the towel in stopping the fight in the 7th round after he had kissed the canvas twice already.

Wilder was upset saying he still had a chance and they shouldn't have made that decision for him. He then said he would have rather gone out on his shield which tells you how simple this guy is. A shield would have been a stretcher in his case as he ended up in hospital anyway being checked over.

The corner men are there to protect him and make the call if it is that one sided. He was battered and bloodied and there was only going to be one winner. I think it was words of embarrassment as he was not very good. I had heard he was a strong puncher and was waiting for something to happen. In the end Fury was the one with the stronger punches and I think he is over rated.

Someone did alright.

Promoters and managers do such a good job of protecting their fighters they could make Cinderella look fearsome. Wilder is useless yet who knows maybe he was told to throw this one for a bigger payday down the road. Nothing would shock me as this is a crooked sport with rigged fights happening all the time.

I see the other sleeze ball promoter Frank Warren on Fury's right shoulder and he can only see $$$$ signs now.

This fight reminded me why I gave up watching this sport as I have been hoping for another Hagler vs Hearns classic which will never happen again. Promoters have killed this sport for sports fans and now they want you to fork out $24.99 to watch it. Are they mad or am I missing something here?

When pay per view first came into being something with Tyson and Holyfield in the mid 90's I think. I just wished that fans would not purchase the pay for view as it would wreck the sport even more. More money means more hyped up fights that shouldn't happen like last nights fight.

Now as expected Eddie Hearn was all over Fury as he can milk the public even more with the "Battle of Britain" for the undisputed Heavyweight title of the World between Fury and Joshua. This will be a massive payday and a good bye to Fury leaving himself with a large check for his retirement. Oh I nearly forgot they could milk it twice if they make it close fooling the public to empty their pockets twice.

I won't be watching as I don't rate either fighter and I am hoping for another rough diamond like Tyson to clean them all up again. Joshua or Fury wouldn't last one round against Tyson in his prime so surely there has to be someone out there to show the public how bad these boxers really are.
