Work Harder To Get Ahead

This is the approach I took when I joined Hive and have never looked back since making that decision. I took the decision to invest my time instead of FIAT to see if it was possible to grow and became a personal challenge. If you are new whether it is in a business or involved within a community like Hive just doing enough is never enough. Unfortunately many people in real life fall into this trap and never amount to much.

When I joined many users had already been active for over a year and had a huge head start. The only way of catching them was to be busier than them clawing back the days bit by bit and this was my tactic. It worked as many of those users were bypassed a long time ago and this put me in a good place for later on.

This is why if you are a new user you can stand out by being a busy member of the community you have joined. This actually is not hard to stand out as there are only a small percentage in every community who are really busy. Read as many posts as possible and add some decent comments which will over time gain you a following. This is a social media blockchain after all and being social is what will get you ahead.

You always hear the word "consistency" as being an important factor for growth and this is so true. if you set yourself a target of 20 comments per day then stick to it even if you aren't in the mood.

Everyone gets writers block from time to time (maybe a few don't) so always have some ideas written down or try something new. I personally think if you are a subscriber in a few tribes this makes things far easier as your topics will vary. Sports for myself I can write any day of the week as I have a general passion for anything sports related.

I never understand why the feeds always go slower when the Hive price dips as this is the time to stand up and be noticed. If you are new there should never be a quiet time as time is what you need on the blockchain in order to grow.

The older users know what Hive could mean to them in the future and why they take things fairly seriously and rarely miss a day. 20 Hive earned today could equate to $100 in the future and that is not being too far fetched either. Everything adds up being compounded over time resulting in a decent sized stake which is what we all want to happen.

The beauty about hive is there is no difference between anyone and this offers a fair chance to succeed for all. Fair to those that do the time and remain consistent as they will be the ones that ultimately benefit.
