What could actually be more interesting than be a witness to a so called impossible mission.
My name is Jackson John, and I'm only a worker in a 300 billion dollar Automobile company. When you hear of the state of the ART cars, Think ROX RIDES.

ROX RIDES, as described earlier, is a fast growing automobile company with a strong brand and a good sense of quality. Though they are new to the game, their unique qualities smashes that of those that has been in the game for years. One peculiar feature about ROX RIDES is that their cars comes with a better improved technology and lots of automation. For a company that just came out yesterday to be found among top 5 world best car producers. You should know what that means.

A new release of the ROX RIDES is a car they call, RR Phantom 7.

“What could be more better than a car that will automatically drive you to your house when you are drunk” Said the director during a press conference. He continues, “One outstanding feature about the RR Phantom 7 is that it comes with an antitheft feature. That is, you can actually keep your car anywhere you like without fear of it being stolen. Once antitheft is activated, nobody in this world, not even Hermes, the god of thieves could steal it.

The RR Phantom 7 was built with the issue of theft in mind. The car, still undergoing series of testing has been made known to the public that theft is actually impossible. The car is actually one of the most expensive cars in the world, having a net worth greater than one bitcoin.

Few months after the release of RR Phantom 7,the so called impossible action was actually made possible.

It was a very busy Monday. As night draws nearer, I was already on my way to work. I was on night shift for the week.
At around 12:50am, normal time for everyone to sleep. What kept me awake till that time was what I don't know. I started hearing some strange sounds as at that time. But I ignored it thinking that it was one of the workers.

Few hours later, at exactly 2:00am. The sounds were still there, I decided to head to that direction only to be almost hitted by a speeding car. Wait!!!, is that the RR Phantom 7?, I asked myself as I immediately sound the alarm. Immediately, all the entrance doors to the company started locking automatically, including the big gates. After the initiation of automatic lock, the speed motion detector was initialized, then video footage from cctv cameras covered the whole place.
“That car must not leave the building” said the director who was already on his way to the company with lots of soldiers.

Just as we were about replying, there was a blackout, the whole building went out of electricity, and it came back after 5 seconds just after the blackout. We were no longer under control of the company's automations. “we have been hacked sir” said the reporter
“ what do you mean by that young man” replied the director
“ I don't know how they did it, but from what I'm seeing here, the car was actually built with a tracker and a face recognition software to detect the people in the car. Worst thing about this is that any any attempt to remove these features, automatically destroys the car. The car was stolen for 30 minutes and was recovered there after. Thank God for the programmers we had in the building.

THE END.

This is the kind of story technophiles love. You create the idea of a machine that has not yet been designed. Your challenge is to make this a believable invention. I think you do that. You anticipate questions that might arise in the minds of readers. You do this in the context of a story arc that has a central character. Good job1

Thank you for posting this imaginative story to the Ink Well community.

Hello @cryptofi,
You took this story into an unusual direction. That's always a good thing. Keeps readers interested. You created a relatable narrator, Jackson John, who is witness to the events. You allow us to share Jackson's wonder at the marvel of the new design.

You did a good job in holding readers' attention. There were a couple of grammatical issues which, if corrected, would significantly improve the readability of the story. Nonetheless, an interesting, original concept.

Keep writing!

I really like the direction this story took, the concept of an undesigned machine. I never thought there would be so much to explore within such subject.

Great work, beautifully written.
