A boy named Collins visited his uncle during Easter vacation. The easter vacation ended and Collins was driving back to his home. He reached a lonely bushy road at midnight and it was very dark. Collins was confused, he was lost in the bushy road and couldn't find his way out to the main road. He keep on moving and moving until he got to a certain spot and stop the car. He got out of the car to see if he could get help from anyone around. He didn't see anyone to help him, he was sad and decided to rest a little bit.

Collins heard a voice laughing so loud far from where he was resting. He followed the strange voice and got to little hut in the bush where he saw an old man beating drum. Collins was happy because he has found someone and a place to spend the night.

The old man saw Collins and laughed, he took his drum and went inside the hut. Collins followed the old man into the hut.
Collins was shocked when he entered the hut, the old man vanished and their was nothing inside the hut except clay pot and a kettle.

Collins was very scared because everything was changing in his eyes. He ran to his car and drove off with a high speed that he miraculously got out of the the bushy road.

Thank you for posting this story in the Ink Well community. It has the sense of symbolism, especially at Easter, which is such a symbolic holiday. We've all been on lonely roads (whether real or symbolic) and have been frightened by something we saw or imagined. Collins, though, finds his way home after making a detour. This is the way most searching journeys end.

Please note that the picture at the top of your post is not public domain. All images must be public domain, unless you personally have a right to them. You can check Pixabay, Unsplash and Pexels. These are good sources of public domain pictures.

Once, again, thank you for thinking of the Ink Well when you write creatively.

I am a sucker for a good symbolic story and this is was one of them. The story doesn't overstay its welcome. In fact, I still want more of it.

You have written something special here.

@cryptofi
You must remove that image and replace it with a public domain image. You can find these public domain images at Pixabay, Pexels. and Unsplash. It is our policy to permanently mute people who do not use public domain images. I would not like that to happen to you. If you are permanently muted you can no longer post in this community.

Hope to see you writing again for us, with the proper images. Thank you.
