Health Friends

Seeking Health

Through New Friendships

Since my health hit it's all time low, (and when I saw low I mean really low) I have sought out support from people who have traveled a similar health journey. I recently made my health so much worse trying to treat blindly and because I was stuck in my own ways. One thing I learned is that too much research and trial is not always a good thing, because you don't know what to expect. On the flip side, it's hard to trust complicated health issues with practitioners who typically like to put their patients into a box or who are simply biased on what has either worked for them or their typical protocol.

After seeing several types of alternative practitioners like functional medicine, Chinese medicine, homeopaths, etc. I learned one thing, they all believe they can help you and their primary driver is profit. I will say that they are a slight upgrade from normal doctors but not by much and it's easy to waste your time with them, especially if you are in a health crisis. Oftentimes people who work with alternative health options like this are able to ride out their protocols; however, that is not the case for me given the amount of pain my symptoms cause me.

Grateful for Health Friends

You can imagine after trying every option to find relief from my symptoms I have reached out to countless individuals. I have found some new friends who have both similar symptoms and a history of treating them the way I have. I am most grateful to have met these people and they have provided the best guidance and support than anyone I've paid to work with. In return, I hope to offer them any insight and help I may be able to provide. In a way, it's kind of like decentralized health.

Another thing I learned about people is that they can offer much more conservative advice, and warn you about some trials that have failed for them. I know that to be true in my case since I have cautioned anyone who has reached out to me that if something gets worse, it's best to stop. Personally I don't believe in die offs that's not induced by diet alone and this is one of the biggest lessons I try to share so that people do not damage their health thinking that they are doing something good for themselves.

Supporting Friends

One friend I would like to call out in particular is a health coach named Jeff. Jeff has been an angel that was sent from God, and if anyone on Hive here supports me I hope you can help me in supporting Jeff's business.

I'm actually trying to convince him to join Hive since he is an extremely talented artist. I think a lot of his art needs to be converted to NFTs here on Hive so he can dive into the blockchain world and expand his reach with his work.

I hope in return for the friendship he has offered me, I can support him by connecting him with new avenues to explore.

We are curious why you are using #c-c-c as a TOPIC-Tag?? That TOPIC-Tag is used to indicate a post is a CURATED COLLECTION... But this post is obviously not a collection of links. Therefore we're confused and perhaps there was a mistake by us not helping you to understand what a collection is? Or perhaps you're using #c-c-c for another reason?
