It is important to know that problems are inherent to the human condition. As such, there is no human being who can say that its life is totally free of problems. Nobody is totally free of needs, no matter how wealthy and lucky it may be. Thus, it is vital to understand that get success requires us to face obstacles. This is necessary in such a sense.

Finding the light in the midst of problems

Whenever I talk about these issues, I usually do it from a metaphysical perspective. But today I want to talk about it from a more practical perspective. The point here is that when faced with the problems that arise in any area of life, we must try to find the light at all times.

And what does it mean to find the light in this sense? It is nothing more than trying to find opportunities in the midst of problems. It is about adopting a psychological approach. Where we try to see the advantages in the midst of the adverse circumstances. To see the opportunities that are in front of us to also learn important lessons from them and act properly.

And what are adverse circumstances? They are all those things that make it difficult to achieve our goals in life. We may be talking about money, love, happiness, etc. What we want can be within a very diverse range of things. The point here is that all those situations that prevent us to get success are problems. The problems that we must adopt under the opportunity approach.

Some people say the Chinese word to write "problem" is the same one used to write the word "opportunity". True or not, it makes a lot of sense. Since all problem in life is a chance to success.

And let's see at a few examples to prove it:

Suppose you want to study mathematics at collegue. But then you realize that you are bad at math. So, you know you need to try harder. And that you need to study more. Until you finally approve your exams. Or, instead, maybe you realize that you are not so good at math. This makes you realize that you don't like math. And so you look for ways to study another career.

Or suppose I want to a person to fall in love with me. But each time I get close it rejects me. Well I can keeping insisting until that person falls in my arms. Or instead, I can get that this person really doesn't like me and that I should fall in love with someone else.

Or let's guess I want to be a professional chess player. If I'am excellent player, to achieve that goal will be very easy to me. But if I am not very good, it will be very hard. And each obstacle will always make me I ask to myself the same question: "Do am I really taking the right path". So, I am going to question to myself whether being a chess player is my ideal life goal.

See opportunities in problems instead of problems in opportunities

The point here is that success and the fact of seeing opportunities in the problems is important. And it is not about abandoning our goals in the face of any adversity. Nor is it about striving superhumanly to achieve each goal.

These are part of the options and decisions that we must make in the face of each situation. They are adversity that arises to achieve our goals. But the key here is to distinguish that each problem should make us wiser and more reflective in every way. To the point of asking ourselves if we should continue making an effort. Or if we really should change our path because it makes us realize that our goals really are different of what we think of.

The opportunity behind each problem then is to realize when we should insist. And when we should change our path. But it is also in the fact of seeing the advantages behind everything that seems like a problem in life. A simpler example is when we buy a grocery product in a store. So, if said product is expired and we realize it when we get home. Then it is logical that we go to return it or change it to the store where we bought it, right? If they change it, all great. But what happens if they don't change it? Many would say that the store in question can be reported.

But suppose that reporting is not possible, or that we think it is not worth our time to this matter. In this case, the positive amid the bad is that we will have identified the store in question. And thus we will know that we should never buy there again in the future. So the lesson in not buying there is the positive that has come out of this problem.

But this applies to everything in life

As this is everything in life. If you are nice to someone and that person constantly disappoint you and make you feel bad. It means that person is not your friend and you should avoid it at all costs. But back to the success goals in life, the important thing is to realize that each problem is an opportunity. A real chance to achieve success in one way or another.

Each problem should make us wiser. More thoughtful, determined and persevering to go our true path in life. Thus, this approach of looking for the good side behind each problem is useful. It will help us identify both the path we should be on. And the level of effort we should put in to achieve everything we want in life.

Es importante saber que los problemas son inherentes a la condición humana. Como tal, no hay ningún ser humano que pueda decir que su vida está totalmente libre de problemas. Nadie está totalmente libre de necesidades, por muy rico y afortunado que sea. Por ello, es vital entender que conseguir el éxito requiere que enfrentemos obstáculos. Esto es necesario en ese sentido.

Encontrar la luz en medio de los problemas

Siempre que hablo de estos temas suelo hacerlo desde una perspectiva metafísica. Pero hoy quiero hablar de ello desde una perspectiva más práctica. La cuestión aquí es que ante los problemas que se presentan en cualquier ámbito de la vida, debemos intentar encontrar la luz en todo momento.

¿Y qué significa encontrar la luz en este sentido? No es más que intentar encontrar oportunidades en medio de los problemas. Se trata de adoptar un enfoque psicológico. Donde intentamos ver las ventajas en medio de las circunstancias adversas. Ver las oportunidades que tenemos frente a nosotros para aprender también importantes lecciones de ellas y actuar adecuadamente.

¿Y cuáles son las circunstancias adversas? Son todas aquellas cosas que dificultan la consecución de nuestros objetivos en la vida. Puede que estemos hablando de dinero, amor, felicidad, etc. Lo que queremos puede estar dentro de un abanico muy diverso de cosas. La cuestión aquí es que todas aquellas situaciones que nos impiden conseguir el éxito son problemas. Los problemas que debemos adoptar bajo el enfoque de oportunidades.

Algunas personas dicen que la palabra china para escribir "problema" es la misma que se usa para escribir la palabra "oportunidad". Cierto o no, tiene mucho sentido. Dado que todo problema en la vida es una oportunidad de éxito.

Y veamos algunos ejemplos para demostrarlo:

Supongamos que quieres estudiar matemáticas en la universidad. Pero luego te das cuenta de que eres malo en matemáticas. Entonces, sabes que debes esforzarte más. Y que necesitas estudiar más. Hasta que finalmente apruebes tus exámenes. O, en cambio, tal vez te des cuenta de que no eres tan bueno en matemáticas. Esto te hace darte cuenta de que no te gustan las matemáticas. Y entonces buscas la manera de estudiar otra carrera.

O supongamos que quiero que una persona se enamore de mí. Pero cada vez que me acerco me rechaza. Bueno puedo seguir insistiendo hasta que esa persona caiga en mis brazos. O en cambio, puedo entender que realmente no le agrado a esta persona y que debería enamorarme de otra persona.

O supongamos que quiero ser un jugador de ajedrez profesional. Si soy un excelente jugador, lograr ese objetivo me resultará muy fácil. Pero si no soy muy bueno, será muy difícil. Y cada obstáculo hará que siempre me haga la misma pregunta: "¿Realmente estoy tomando el camino correcto?". Entonces, voy a preguntarme si ser jugador de ajedrez es mi objetivo ideal en la vida.

Ver oportunidades en problemas en lugar de problemas en oportunidades.

El punto aquí es que el éxito y el hecho de ver oportunidades en los problemas es importante. Y no se trata de abandonar nuestros objetivos ante cualquier adversidad. Tampoco se trata de esforzarse sobrehumanamente para lograr cada objetivo.

Estas son parte de las opciones y decisiones que debemos tomar ante cada situación. Son adversidades que surgen para lograr nuestros objetivos. Pero la clave aquí es distinguir que cada problema debería hacernos más sabios y reflexivos en todos los sentidos. Hasta el punto de preguntarnos si debemos seguir esforzándonos. O si realmente deberíamos cambiar nuestro camino porque nos hace darnos cuenta de que nuestras metas son realmente diferentes a las que pensamos.

La oportunidad detrás de cada problema entonces es darse cuenta de cuándo debemos insistir. Y cuando deberíamos cambiar nuestro camino. Pero también está en el hecho de ver las ventajas detrás de todo lo que parece un problema en la vida. Un ejemplo más sencillo es cuando compramos un producto comestible en una tienda. Así, si dicho producto está caducado y nos damos cuenta al llegar a casa. Entonces es lógico que vayamos a devolverlo o cambiarlo a la tienda donde lo compramos, ¿no? Si lo cambian, todo genial. ¿Pero qué pasa si no lo cambian? Muchos dirían que se puede denunciar la tienda en cuestión.

Pero supongamos que no es posible informar, o que pensamos que no vale la pena dedicarle tiempo a este asunto. En este caso, lo positivo entre lo malo es que habremos identificado la tienda en cuestión. Y así sabremos que no deberíamos volver a comprar allí en el futuro. Entonces, la lección de no comprar allí es lo positivo que ha surgido de este problema.

Pero esto se aplica a todo en la vida.

Como esto es todo en la vida. Si eres amable con alguien y esa persona constantemente te decepciona y te hace sentir mal. Significa que esa persona no es tu amiga y debes evitarla a toda costa. Pero volviendo a las metas de éxito en la vida, lo importante es darse cuenta de que cada problema es una oportunidad. Una oportunidad real de alcanzar el éxito de una forma u otra.

Cada problema debería hacernos más sabios. Más reflexivos, decididos y perseverantes para recorrer nuestro verdadero camino en la vida. Por tanto, este enfoque de buscar el lado bueno de cada problema es útil. Nos ayudará a identificar tanto el camino que debemos seguir. Y el nivel de esfuerzo que debemos poner para lograr todo lo que queremos en la vida.
