Defeating ALL The Golden Archmage Arius'

I have been playing Splinterlands for over a year now and one of my goals in playing has been to defeat each copy of the rarest in game summoner: Archmage Arius. And after going through my various articles and saved fights I realized something.... I already have. As you can see in the other fight posted here, rarity or USD dollar value of card didn't matter in those times. Now card lvls neuter rewards and various other updates have since made some of this lineups inutile in their leagues, but a victory is a victory none the less.

Strategy and Placement: Untamed Legendary Carnage

In the fights located below I use "classic untamed" strategies. In this particular fight I perform the traditional "llama golem" combination (arranging my lineup in a way where poison and enemy damage leaves flesh golem as the last creature that receives last stand to massively improve it's healing and damage). A lvl 1 Kron has very little it can do against an agitated flesh golem "last standing" over the corpses of his fallen brethren. A lvl2 kron would've been an entirely different story.

In the second fight BLAST BLASTS, it is as simple as that. A greater number of creatures blast through the opponent's greater individual damage due to Yodin zaku's signature ability. This does not mean this wasn't a close victory anyway, and yes it was very satisfying blasting right through blight doctor lvl 3 in case anyone was wondering.

How I would Utilize the Almighty Arius: Rex's Top 5

The ideal cards to use with Archmage Arius are cards with more than one type of base attack, however in those situations it is hard to think of a better character than the Archmage himself. Below I will mention my PERSONAL favorite cards to use with Archmage Arius. In no particular order: War Chaang, The Vigilator, Oaken Behemoth, and Quora. These are my top five creatures to use with this summoner currently, in no particular order.

In my personal opinion ANY AND ALL of these cards reach their apex potential with Archmage Arius at the helm, however this summoner is incredibly rare so I personally will never be utilizing my ideal strategic thoughts for the summoner (myself). That doesn't mean those of you who own the card shouldn't take these creatures for a spin with your legendary draconic wizard.
