HiveFest started today and has already completed its first day of talks with different types of speakers and different themes.

Here is the summary of each of the sessions, with the video in the initial minutes of each one of them to help people that maybe are only interested on some specific topics.

Opening

The day started with an opening made by our host @roelandp making some graces using AltSpace VR, used in the last two editions of HiveFest due to the pandemic.

He also invited @arcange to show statistics related to the number of attendance at the event over the years through the data from @hivebuzz (which gives a badge to Hive users who are/were present at the events).

During this presentation, the 9 people who attended all the HiveFests received an “award”, called the HiveFest Trophy, for being always present (you can see more details in the video below).
@roelandp took the opportunity and mentioned several projects related to Hive with which he was fascinated with the work developed in the last year.

Hive.io CoreDev

The first presentation of the day was related to the Core Devs of Hive.io being the speakers Dan Notestein from @blocktrades and Martin Lees(@howo).
The focus of the presentation was to address the work developed during the last year related to HardFork26 such as One Block Irreversibility (aka OBI), Scability increase, RC delegations and other small things.

Also, existed an AUA (Ask Us Anything) where the audience made questions about this new changes.

NFTs for peace

The second presentation was made by @zirochka and @arcange about the NFT for peace project

@zirochka came straight from Ukraine (which is still at war) to give his testimony of how this project and the Hive community were very important in helping people who are in the middle of this terrible conflict.

Lassecash

The third presentation was made by @lasseehlers where he presented and talked about LasseCash project.
He talked how the project started, how did you grow talking about outpost, liquidity pools, liquidity rewards and new functionalities/ideas for the project.

Winalab

The fourth presentation was made by @manncpt presenting some projects like @globalschool (this is a project here people are working on real life project and document it on Hive), @cryptobrunch (this is a project have online and offline workshops are held where people are explained how to become crypto bloggers and bring them to Hive), @wildnasswald and Vienna Hive Meet Up.

Freechain movie

The fifth presentation was made by @lordbutterfly and @little.lamb about "FreeChain" documentary talking about the current progress, next steps, and it was shown the documentary trailer.

Visionary Studios

The sixth presentation was made by @jeffjagoe presenting @visionarystudios: what is their mission, what projects have they already developed and how does Hive fit in the project.

Hive Marketing

The eighth presentation was made by @behilarious introduced by @arcange.
On this presentation, it was to explain the proposal to The Hive Marketing Campaign for Developers explaining the goals that want to archive and explain the marketing plan.

The ninth presentation was made by @rollie1212 talking about Beerverse that will be a place where alcohol industry meets the community.

The eleven presentation was made by @lemouth talking about is experience as a scientist using Hive and @stemsocial to publish his work and discuss some topics with the community.

How to maintain a community on Hive

The last show of the day but not the least it was made by @detlev talking about how to maintain a community on hive.
During this presentation, it was show several steps that is necessary to do to create a community that will have interaction and people will like to write and discuss it, showing the BEER community as example.
