Thetan Arena - Introduction

In my last gaming post, I mentioned a game called Thetan Arena and now I decided to do a post talking about the game.
I started to play the game more a less two weeks ago when my Mystery Box bought on Binance NFT was released to be able to play with my NFT hero.

What is Thetan Arena?

Thetan Arena is MOBA & Battle Royale based on Blockchain technology using NFTs created by Wolfun.

The gameplay it is designed to involve the player individual skills and the teamwork since the game have different game modes where we can play solo or in a team.

Thetan Arena have different things that is necessary to understand the game and how things works:

• Game Modes
• Heroes
• Skills

Game Modes

Exists 5 different game modes:

• Duo Battle Royale -> 6 teams of 2 players playing to be the last survivor team. Each game has a duration limit of 4 minutes. In order to ensure that exists only one team at end the battlefield area decreases in forcing teams to fight with each other. If a player be outside the battlefield limits it is eliminated.

• Solo Battle Royale -> This mode is very similar to the Duo Battle Royale but instead to be in team it is to play alone. Instead to have 6 teams of 2 player we have 12 players playing against each other.

• Tower -> 2 teams of 4 players playing to destroy the team enemy tower. In order to be able to destroy the Tower the team needs to collect an item called Battery to recharge the Robot. The teams can only make damage in the tower when the Robot is live. If after 5 minutes any tower was destroyed the team that have the tower with more health will win the match.

• Death Match -> 2 teams of 4 players playing to eliminate the other team members as many as possible in order to collect the 25 kills before the 3 minutes end or be the team with more points when time runs out. Each eliminate starts generating 1 point but during the game is increased and in the last minute each elimination generates 3 points.

• SuperStar -> 2 teams of 4 players playing to collect as many stars as possible. For a team be able to collect the stars it is necessary to collect “Mother Star” and hold it for 50 seconds. During this team will appear the stars to be collected.
  The maps used in Game Modes changes each 24 hours.

Heroes

The game has a lot of different Heroes.

Each Hero has a unique native ability called Fury and have unique stats according to their roles.

Hero classes

Exists 3 hero classes:

• Tank -> as the name suggest it is used as a Tank in order to get the most part of the enemy damages and let the teammates to eliminate the enemies

• Assassin -> is the hero that have more damage in the game and normally have the role to eliminate the most part of the enemies

• Marksman -> have the capacity to target enemies in long distance

I will do a separate post for each one of the classes to be able to detail each one.

Hero Level

Exists two levels in a hero:

• Hero Level
• In-game Level

The Hero Level represents the base attributes like Damage, Health, Attack Speed, etc.

This level it is correlated with the Hero Trophy Class that represents the mastery of using a hero.

The Trophy Class goes from H to SS and increases the power of the skills used in the battlefield.

The In-game Level always starts in level 1 in the battlefield and it is upgraded destroying boxes and eliminating enemies

Skills

Before joining the battlefield, players needs to selected 2 extra skills since the hero already have one native skill.

There are 3 skill sets:

• Effect Skill -> Inflicting status on self, allies, and enemies.

• Damage Skill -> Used to greatly increase the amount of damage in a short period.

• Support Skill -> Aiding you against attacks of enemies.

The available skills that can be selected by the player are randomized (15 skills) from the skill pool (22) every week.

This obligates the player to learn how to play with different skills each week.

Since exists 22 different skills I will try to do a post explaining each skill and demonstrate each one.
