Gosh, I do feel like a profitable and hardworking GPU miner in Hive!

Blogging on Hive to make it my notepad has become an excellent use case for me.

Today I take stock of my HP earnings to understand if things do indeed move faster when the HP is higher in one's account.

In my case, I powered up to 10K HP on 16 Jan 2023. I truly believe things got more interesting when that happened.

Indeed, I chalked up 100 HP in rewards on 12 Feb 2023, a month later.

Today is about another month from the Feb update. I chalked up another 200 HP as shown below.

I would be happy if I add 100 HP organically through rewards, but hey, 200 HP over a month is great! I am not complaining.

In effect, I doubled my HP rewards last month.

If this is a solid growth trend, can I expect another doubling when I check in mid-April? That would be 400 HP, bringing my total to 10700!

Crazy if that happens. It would be exponential growth!

So, what are my settings, or strategies?

First, my author's rewards are set to 50% HBD and 50% HP.

Second, I keep my upvotes going such that I don't waste them by leaving them at 100%.

Well, I noticed that my overall author's rewards are getting better in my recent post (blue bar below). That might be the main cause of the HP increase.

The red bar showing curation rewards probably reached its maximum growth though it might inch up a little with higher HP.

With that, my strategy is clear:

- Continue to use Hive as a notepad.
- Continue to support others by upvoting.
- Continue to write posts.

Gosh, I do feel like a GPU miner! :)

Let's see, at about 4000HP I make about 6-7HP a week through curation, so about 60HP a month at 10000HP makes sense. I'm still getting my post rewards 100% HP almost every time to try and average a total growth of about 100HP a week until I get to dolphin status (about 5600HP)... Then I might diversify.

You are certainly getting there broh.. 200 hive growth is insane!

I upped my delegation to posh to gain more posh and gosh 😂😂 just for a week or two to boosts the numbers a bit

I delegate HP to POSH... But ill soon scale it down again just doing it for the fun of it... I dont think POSH will really shoot for the stars but it's nice having something different on the hive chain

That what high amount of Hp can do, I'm pretty sure you growth will be great if you kept doing powering up everything you are getting in reward.

Thanks once more for another interesting post @cryptothesis, your theory seems obvious when we follow your threads and others' professional advice.. if exponential could stay it would be nice. How about @leo and @leofinance? any strategy advice or strategy? And on Larynx and spk we had rewards of about 28 Larynx highlighted for more than a week we clicked and re-clicked and they never appeared in our wallet but the rewards disappeared.? I don't understand too much about Larynx Vibes Spaco Pesos that never appear anywhere but are rewarded constantly, and others and their rewards and all, just mentioning this because of your last post or thread on the SPK and Larynx. Best+!

Ah, I understand. I use the actual Notepad to write the drafts of my posts and wasn't sure if you were referring to that. The good thing about what you're doing is that your "notes" always be available on the blockchain. :)
