HIVE or BTC: What to buy now?

In this day of red, I feel like deploying some funds to buy some cryptos. Ok, more like starting to DCA rather than pouring all at the same time.

But still, there is a need to strategize. Allow me to think aloud here.

HIVE or BTC: What to buy now?

This is the BTC chart below. It seems to me that it is heading to the lower bound of the Bollinger band. And it is looking like the downward pressure is not extreme.

The chart below is the Hive/BTC chart. It seems like the valuation of Hive against BTC is at its weakest, and it is at the line of support.

Now, given these two situations, which will be a better deal?

Suppose the aim is to gain more BTC, the decision would be based on whether we more likely see a spike in the HIVE/BTC than BTC/USDT?

My thinking is that we will more likely see a spike in the HIVE/BTC.

This means I should put in my DCA on Hive and then when it spikes, I would convert to BTC.

P/S: This is not financial advice, and please do your own due diligence before investing.

I will also suggest you to with hive, as with hive, you will gain more profit if it go a little up, on the other hand, btc is not moving the way it should ,and to gain more profit, it has to go up a lot.

i think we are at support line in Hive/BTC. seems pretty solid there. !PIZZA

I don't understand that almost all analysts speak about this support line. I don't believe that anyone makes his buying or selling depending on it and these "support lines" are more theoretical / virtual. Correct me if I'm wrong.... !HUG !CTP

I think that's the most viable strategy based on the second chart above. The upside from Hive/BTC will probably be better than BTC/USDT.

I think both Hive and BTC is bound to jump very high sooner or later... But that's only my opinion 😂 I am keen on buying some etheruem too though😎

I stop doing Ethereum because the gas fees is expensive. !PIZZA

i have not much thoughts about this actually. if there is little utility then maybe it's not worthy.

What do you mean with "doing" ETH? USing it or trading with it? For me it's 2 completely different things. I'm with you for the matter of projects and the huge gas fees, but that wouldn't stop me to trade it... !PIZZA

For me doing means both, because I like to store it myself and it will need gas fees to transfer.

That's right, but trading it you wouldn't need to pay so much fee, and only you'd need to pay it once !HUG

It depends but I still think BTC is the safer option because it's treated like a commodity by even the US government. Hive is better if you think we are ready for the bull market. I think we are still going sideways so who knows.

You're right, except if you're DCA'ing.... Than it doesn't matter if BEAR or BULL. As long as it moves sideways it's fine! !HUG

A DCA is the only option in the current market to save your investment. If I had the money at the time I would have bought hive because Bitcoin is so expensive it doesn't give us as much as it can give us.

Here I'm not really following. If BTC is expensive, you just buy a lower quantity. It's all a matter of %, isn't it? !LUV

I still think Bitcoin is the king but with Hive, it gives you more power to this blockchain.

The question here is, will BTC stay king?... !LOL

I was thinking about IOTA for a while, but it doesn't seem to be the one anyway...
I believe it'll be a new one...

I will surely buy some Hive at the dip. With hive we can do many things like delegating it to some good projects, upvoting the good content and many more.

It looks you were like, even though we didn't really see a spike yesterday....
As you might remember I'm DCA'ing (via 3Commas)both BTC and Hive (both with USDT).
In general, over the last months I'm earning more over Hive than over BTC.
I must admit that I put some more money in Hive as well since the deviation of BTC is quite small (in %), which makes the average going lower faster at the Hive/USDT pair. But still. With 800 USD inside the Hive/USDT pair I've picked up almost 9 USD in Hive again. That's over 1%. doing this once per week / 2 weeks this makes me feeling ok !WEED !LUV

I've been checking and y average is 170 Hive / month in the first 5 months. Let's say I'd make 100 Hive a month with DCA, that would be the same as what I've made this month with my daily activities here. The difference is that these dsaily activities would cost me roughly 45 hours and the DCA (once set up) I'm doing on the go.... !PIZZA
