Visiotasy for Hive: What I often vision Hive to be in my fantasy

How do you like my play of words - Vision and Fantasy - into Visiotasy? It is like a spell that puts us all into this fantasy of what Hive may become.

I often vision Hive to be huge in my fantasy.

How huge?

Might as well dream big while I am at it.

And that is for Hive to be the number one cryptocurrency in the entire market!

Yes, the headlines read: Hive replaces Bitcoin as the most invested crypto asset OVERNIGHT!

The bit on overnight is to add some glitters to the fantasy.

It would be a situtation where out of a sudden the world badly needs a totally decentralized censorship-resistant crypto asset. Say, following a failure of CBDC and traditional assets worldwide. A rush for safety in retaining the value of wealth through a censorship resistance layer suddenly struck. Retail investors, big corporations, governments, world bank, and even aliens dashed to scoop up whatever Hive there is to save their wealth!

What might be the price of Hive then?

Say, a modest $100K in USD terms. I picked this number as this is the lofty goal that some BTC maximalists aspire for it to reach next.

My existing 7000 HP would have worth a whopping $70,000,000!

But why Hive? And not other assets like ETH, or whatever.

These are my imagined reasons:

1. People woke up to the fact that feeless transaction is absolutely necessary in crypto transactions, and Hive provides it. For cryptocurrency to be used as medium of exchange en masse, there must not be cost added to transact. Even a minutely small fraction won't work, because human are not used to counting how much it cost to send crypto and will never get used to it.

2. Because of the sheer amount of activities and transactios in Hive globally then, resource credits are needed to keep things moving in Hive so that the people around the world can go about living their life normally. This makes Hive's resource credits as valuble as the energy resources we see today. Every nation, companies, and individuals need to regularly snap up Hive and power it up in a similar way we pay utility bills.

3. The world's brain will be on Hive when almost everyone contributes their ideas and thoughts on Hive. I imagine people will start saying "Go Hive it" in place of "Go Google it". You get my point. If not, go Hive it.

4. Alongside with #3, Hive replaces the current Internet's function in that governments, companies, and organizations do not host their website in the traditional sense anymore. Instead, they get an account in Hive and they actually earn substantial income from posting and curating through that account. I am pleased to see someone had been using the gray matter between their ears: https://peakd.com/@usa, https://peakd.com/@uae.

5. Hive is also poised to be the world reserve currency, given that businesses are built on it. As lives on Planet Earth becoming more and more digital, businesses and services are increasingly digital as well. The number of second layer projects far exceeds what we have today. In fact, some will be enabling third-layer projects on the Hive blockchain as side chain or whatever. There will be countless different tokens that are traded and business activities would mirror that of what we see in VISA and Mastercard transactions today. We already have a HBD now, why not a HBD.EUR, or HBD.JPY, when Hive is integrated with the actual geographically-based economic activities.

I am sure there are more reasons, but I need to wake up from this fantasy to catch some sleep.
