Why are there so much people and yet so little resources?
Was God wrong when He commanded man to “be fruitful and multiply”? The answer is an emphatic no! But if the answer is no, why is Earth over-populated?

In life, every man has a reason to live as far as you have been given birth to. No one deserves to die even if we all know we will all die one day. But Everyone deserves a shot at life, a chance to make impact, a chance to inspire and be inspired.

But with the increased demand for food, water, and shelter, and other resources essential for survival what can we do?

It’s not enough to argue about over-population, we must also proffer viable solutions. At the rate at which the world population is growing, food and water may become scarce resources. And if that happens, crime will rise exponentially and living will become a survival of the fittest.

What then can we do to curb over population?

Dissemination of information, is the first step in the right direction. Our girls, ladies, women, and mothers need to be educated about birth control. Couples need to be enlightened on Family Planning and it’s benefits. It’s a common saying that children are gifts from God. That saying has become an excuse for some people to give birth to as much as they can, instead of as much as they can provide and care for.

The next point of action, is to abolish child marriage and eradicate teenage pregnancies. Teenagers must be enlightened on sex education.

As much as there are other ways we can go through I will love to stop here and conclude that one of the biggest way we can stop overpopulation is through love. It might sound odd but it's true. When we love each other we can help reduce the effect of overpopulation, we would think of our neighbors and our actions affect them. If we love our neighbors, we will think actions affect our community, and do our best to contribute positively to the growth of our respective communities.
