Getting to take photos in this beautiful town of Goolwa is a real joy as the place is just full of interesting things to look at.

Restored Paddle Steamer

This was parked up on the jetty, it was not a pleasure craft for tourists as I first though but a privately owned vessel, the owner has obviously spent a great deal of effort in its restoration.

The Jetty and Rail Road

The location is also home to a fully functioning Steam train that runs for pleasure trips, (watch out for another post about this train ) But for today it was just a nice stroll and time to take in the views. Thats the challenger paddle steamer to the right.

My friend and I had a drink at the local distillery there a couple of years ago. Can't remember the name, but they had a heap of local scotches.

It’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink or two, the weekend market is worth a visit also.
