8 Episodes in 1 Day (The 3 Body Problem)
Completing 1 season that consists of 8 episodes has consumed my whole afternoon which is a feat that I'm not particularly proud of. But that's not to say that I regret spending the majority of my day sitting and watching the 3 Body Problem. That being said, I don't regret it. This series got me thinking beyond the story which means I have gotten so engaged that I'm already wishing that Season 2 will be released soon.
I guess the reason that motivated me to watch the entire season in 1 day is the fact that it's good! The beginning, the middle part, and the ending of Season 1 have captivated my attention and imagination throughout the show.
It's a good thing that I'm not a science expert so it's a lot easier for me to get the idea about aliens and their technology that was presented in the show. I love sci-fi genre which is why I'm impressed by the way the events were presented via the show.
I think they did a great job of showcasing theories and ideas that could simplify our understanding of our world and the alien worlds. It made me realize how complex our minds are and with our emotions and personalities, we have become more complex. Too complex that even highly intelligent "beings" or "computers" have a hard time understanding us humans.
For people who like sci-fi, thrill, and mystery this show is going to satisfy your expectations. I think that every scene was part of a grand story to tell. It took me until the last episode before I kind of figured out the message that this series would like to convey but it's worth knowing about it.
I think the best way to watch this series is to watch every episode of the first season in a day to appreciate the sequence of the story without losing some important details about it.
