I've gotten so busy at work in the past few days that it felt like I'm getting overwhelmed by everything that's happening. I'm so immersed in the issues that I have to resolve that I'm forgetting about the issues in my personal life. I guess, that's not a healthy way to handle my stresses at work. Reminding myself to balance my personal and work isn't in my wheelhouse since I lose control over it.

Usually, the issues that I need to resolve at work still linger in my head for quite a while until I resolve them or I have totally forgotten it. This is a bad habit because it will always end up with me having so much stress. This is the kind of stress that keeps me awake at night.

One of the ways that I do to prevent myself from getting stuck in this kind of loop is to break the monotony.

Among the variety of activities that I may do, watching funny videos has become a means for me to temporarily forget about the problems at work and focus on living as well.

The kind of videos that I often go for to make me feel better are vlogs about daily life experiences and comedy ones.

I like watching videos from Yeah Mad which is an Australian-based content creator. They are all about comedy and laughter.

Aside from telling each other Dad Jokes, they also have a version of "The Roast. Which is a battle between 2 comedians as they keep trying to out-roast the other. Maybe the trust between the players is more than enough to allow each other to freely deliver the joke without hesitation.

The videos are very interesting and they gave me a good reason to spare some time for me to laugh as well.
