Hello Hivers!

How are you enjoying your long weekend?

For us, it has to have a good meal with the family. One of our favorite dishes is grilled fish. Today, the fish we grill are freshwater fish; sunfish (or also known as St. Peter's fish) and very common milk fish. These two types of fish are the ones that we often cook for grilling because of its amazing taste and it's easy to cook as well. With the right garnishing, we can easily remove the "fishy aftertaste" that is mostly evident on freshwater fish. It's all about the preparation and not just because of the type of fish; I think we can all agree to that. Of course, the fish has to be fresh; that is the very first requirement.

To give it a nice flavor, we had to stuff the inside of the fish with chopped tomatoes, onions and a little bit of salt. After stuffing it with other ingredients, we wrapped the fish with aluminum foil to keep everything intact and to prevent the fish from burning.

This is a very good grilling technique to hold every ingredient together and it makes it a lot easier to handle the fish while grilling.

It was a really good meal and I enjoyed munching on a freshly grilled fish!
