I bought the year of the dragon red envelope 🧧

Now that we are getting closer to the Chinese New Year, many of the shopping malls are utilizing the atrium for vendors who would like to sell CNY novelty products. I became an instant fan of the red envelopes which is why I bought another one today. I got this from Forum which is one of the shopping malls in Orchard area.

There are other options to choose from but this one look better than the rest. I think that the designs are getting better and better in every year that past. It’s no longer just a simple envelope. The new designs look interactive than before. It appeals as though the envelope is already a gift. And then, whatever that I put inside is a bonus.

Now, I’m curious if whether I will receive a red envelope on this coming CNY celebration? I’m not expecting to get something in return, but I will try to give something to the people that I care about. I think, the act of giving is a good practice to do. To share a portion of the blessings that I receive is good thing.

With all the displays in this bazaar, I can’t help but to feel tempted by these goodies. The tarts look sweet and tasty. I already bag a red envelope and that’s good enough for now.
