Out of green... I found a fung!

It has been raining quite a lot lately, which is something that don't fancy. I'd rather have a warm sunny day than having a cold rainy day. I hope that I'm not the only one who thinks that way. A rainy day restricts every outdoor activity that I plan to do and it forces me to stay at home.

As soon as the rain stopped and the clouds cleared a bit, I went outside to go for a walk. It's depressing to keep staying in the house so I thought that it would make me feel better to spend a few minutes stretching and breathe some fresh air.

Luckily, I found some mushrooms that grew randomly along a patch of grass. They look interesting!

I like the shape of this type of mushroom, they are almost perfectly round like puff balls. The smaller ones still bear the perfect ball shape while the bigger ones have turned into hemispheric shapes.

I did a quick Google search and it seems that I found a species of mushroom that is called Green-spored Parasol. They are poisonous so I'd better stay away from them. These are the types of mushrooms that are meant to be viewed only. They are not safe for us to consume.

What's interesting about these pictures is the contrast between the mushroom and the grass where it grew. It's so cool that a mushroom would even grow in this spot because it's not a corner where there is high humidity or less exposure to sunlight.

It was a great find. I seldom see a cluster of this type of mushroom around my place.

Green-spored Parasol, indeed, is not edible specie. But its relative,

...is edible, well-spread and very fruitful, meaty mushroom.
Some folks consider it to be one of the most tasty forageable mushrooms - when cooked, one cannot distinguish it from a fried meat. I mean, you should learn to recognize it, and live foraging off the nature s gifts. Meanwhile let me treat you with !PIZZA. 🙏 Thanks to @sagarkothary for the curation support!
