Take Control of Your Content’s Reach

I've been reading posts and making interactions with other Hiveans as well; one thing that I notice is the numerous times that people say that in order to achieve success in this platform is to have a "meaningful engagement" with other users. I have no doubt in my mind that it's the only way for anyone to get attention to their blog.

Content is the main product that you anyone can present here at Hive however there's also a need to market your product. There are post-promotion solutions that apps like Peakd & Ecency offer for an "x" amount token, however, does it really work? I can't answer that because I have not tried both of these services. It could potentially work if there are thousands or a million users viewing the app but that's not the case right now. The platform still lacks the number of users that will make post-promotion a reliable option.

So, with the current situation that we have here in Hive, a more realistic approach would be to personally engage with other users. In my opinion, a substantial approach would be to upvote the post, make a meaningful comment, and reblog if you really like the content. The best that you can do is to upvote and comment as well. Any action lesser than that would drastically lessen your success in getting an interaction with the other person.

All you need is Consistency

Some days ago, I started tracking my status in the Ecency Leaderboard, the most active users in particular. In this leaderboard, the app measures the activity of the Ecency users pertaining to posting & commenting. I started really low on the leaderboard, it turns out that "engaging" with a specific goal n mind is not an easy thing to do. I still gave it a try and keep pushing for my activity until I found myself in the Top 20 users. What I realize is that interacting with other users gets easier if the topic we are discussing is something that I knew about or something that I wish to learn about. So I mainly focus on topics that interest me. It didn't take long until I'm seeing several notifications on the app and got replies from other users. I was really busy creating my content while responding to other users subsequently.

There was a time when I'm seeing my username popping in & out of the Top 5 active users leaderboard. As soon as it happens, I knew that I'm doing the right thing as there is a way for me to measure my activity relative to other users.

Aside from getting good interaction with other users, I'm also noticing more upvotes coming into my post. Although my earnings are relatively low compared to the well-known users on this platform, I feel that I'm already making a good return for my effort.

With all of the good interaction that I'm getting right, I'm already excited to see what kind of growth will happen to my account if I consistently engage and connect with the community.

Final Thoughts

While many of us believe that success comes by chance, it is rarely the case. It requires a lot of motivation, ability, desire, and determination to pursue an ambitious goal and attain success in life. Having the right attitude is a key factor in achieving any goal. It means taking action every day with love and practice while being active and competitive. There is an absolute need to stay motivated in order to achieve any goal one chase after.

Only when we remain constant, doing the right things with enthusiasm and determination, will the results come sooner than expected.
