Caturday With Curator Cat and Smudge!

Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Guess what, folks? It's the weekend again! And we all know that Saturday means Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

Aren't I fabulous?

Just in case you've been living under a rock — or in a remote cave somewhere — Caturday is that special day of the week where we get to share pictures of our feline friends all over the internet!

So, if you're a cat lover, why not snap some pictures of your favorite feline friends and share them?

Hey! My dish is down at LEAST 1/4... don't you think it's time for a refill?

We're having a lovely quiet Caturday here with indoor activities. I know the Hoomans had hoped to go out and work in their garden, but after a sunny morning there has been a pervasive drizzle going on all day so they're not really in the mood to do that.

And I'm okay with that, because that means there are more hands on deck to pay attention to the cats!

Smudge, being coy!

Of course, the Dad-Hooman is still very busy with his artwork, on account of that big "show" they're going to at the beginning of May.

Meanwhile, the Mom-Hooman is busy putting together her PowerPoint presentation for the lecture that she's going to be giving at the same event... sort of like a "TED Talk," only longer. I feel it's only my duty to make sure that there is some cat influence on her presentation!

ENOUGH with the photography!

On the other hand, I wish I could declare that Springtime is really here, because that would mean that I would have plenty of sunny spots to sleep in but there are few of those around, most days!

Of course, the Dad-Hooman always drags out his camera every time the sun comes out "just in case" there's a cat in the sun to be photographed!

Enjoying the view from the Mom-Hooman's room!

Meanwhile, we're all keeping our eye on the Cryptosphere, with Bitcoin Halving now just a couple of weeks away.

What will it mean for everyone? Are we going to have a year-long upward trend, much like preceded the peaks in 2013, 2017 and 2021?

I don't know, of course... but we're keeping our eyes open.

In my Cat Condo!

It's all fascinating stuff! Of course, we're all long term investors in this household, but on of the things learned from the past is that it's not a bad idea to take a little profit when things are going crazy, and save that money for future rainy days.

In the meantime, I'm just trying to get to my next Hive goal of 4,000 Hive power!

Well, thanks for coming by and visiting our cat blog on this Caturday! Appreciate you being here, and hope you have a great Sunday!

=^..^=

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communties!

If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
