Hey Hooman! I'm WATCHING you!

It has been a very quiet and drizzly day around here, and after having had a few days of spring it feels very much like winter has returned. It's not a fierce winter, but it is definitely winter enough that I can't find a sunny spot and the house is a little bit cold around the edges.

I can tell the Hoomans were a little frustrated by not being able to go outside and work in their garden today, but the fact that they had to stay inside means that there are more free hands to pay attention to cats!

That said, today the Had-Hooman was so busy with his eBay photography and listing that I had to repeatedly stand in the middle of what he was doing to remind him that it was time for us to go and create a Caturday post, and that he should be taking pictures of cats not pictures of old stuff from the house he wants to sell!

Sometimes I really do wish I had opposable thumbs so I could just go on the computer myself and write my own Caturday post!

Crypto Blahs...?

We're all feeling a little bit sad that the recent Cryptosphere rally seems to have died an early death, and at the moment it seems like Hive is particularly hard hit, down rather steeply this afternoon and generally lagging. I don't know what's up with that but I keep crossing my whiskers and hoping that we will have some good times ahead!

I know the Dad-Hooman really wants us to do better, because he's been trying to save up money to pay something the Hoomans call "taxes," and every time he looks at that paperwork he gets a sour demeanor on his face!

I'm glad cats don't have to pay taxes!

Smudge seems to be doing quite well, and she's entering that time of the year when she's in full spring shed and we find little fur balls that we affectionately call "Smudge Balls" pretty much everywhere she goes.

She's an old lady kitty, so we pretty much let her do her thing and don't really worry too much whenever she hacks a hairball, the poor dear! She is on a special diet to help reduce hairballs and hopefully it'll help her out.

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
