ENTRENOS Winners of 2 Prizes at the First Biennial of Architecture in Central America ENG | ESP 🏆🏆

Hello Architecture + Design lovers I am happy to tell you that the Architects Alejandro Vallejo Rivas and Michael Smith Masis have won two awards at the First Biennial of Architecture of Central America, they are an essential part of our project, their Architecture Atelier Entrenos of Costa Rica is working with us from the beginning giving shape to the Ecovillage Vida Verde.

Especially Alejandro Vallejo Rivas who when we told him about the proposal immediately connected with us and our ideas and dreams of concept towards a life + green and environmentally friendly and together with the team of Entrenos joined to shape the design of this beautiful project despite the distance since they are from Costa Rica and we are from Venezuela, this has been possible thanks to the technology we have been working remotely thanks.

They are a group of really passionate architects who love to create spaces for social work and have made real projects like the ones that awarded them the prizes of this Biennial of Central America that I will share with you today.

Cueva de Luz

Award in Architecture of Social and Environmental Interest this was built in Carpio San Jose, Costa Rica, La Cueva de Luz is really a beautiful social work that lives up to its name, it is a social action center that fills many people with light, a social action center for people with limited resources.

It is a training center of 4 floors, where they teach classes ranging from the youngest to adults, music, sports and arts and crafts, a space made for the community.

For me this architecture has a great appeal, made mostly with wood as we can see in this photo I am a lover of wood, I love the noble materials but I have a special love for wood and Alejandro and Michael are specialists in it and this beautiful building is an example of their knowledge and architectural work with it.

The design is constituted by two wings and in the center of them is the walkway and access way constituted by stairs and ramp that go from the ground floor to the top floor making this space really functional for everyone.

In every detail you can see the love that goes into the design that makes you see the passion they have for creating functional and beautiful spaces for communities. The cave of light is full of wonderful shadows that are created with these louvers that fulfill several functions, enclosure, ventilation, light is a beauty.

Käpäcläjui Indigenous Training Center

Award in Civic and Educational Architecture with the Käpäcläjui Indigenous Training Center in Grano de Oro, Turrialba, Cartago, Costa Rica this beautiful work was made for this aboriginal community where they actively make life is an educational and training center where everyone makes life.

This consists of 2 floors with high gable roof where this second floor is located, where we see again the technique of using the lattice as an enclosure, ventilation and lighting this time with more shapes that merge that make it look like aboriginal fabrics looks really beautiful.

Entrenos demonstrates that design goes beyond high cost materials and budgets, sustainable architecture can also be beautiful and this is demonstrated by wood structures and affordable materials that give shape and beauty to their works that I hope to meet when visiting Costa Rica and share them with you until next time.

ENTRENOS Ganadores de 2 Premios en la Primera Bienal de Arquitectura en Centroamérica ENG | ESP 🏆🏆

Hola amantes de la Arquitectura + Diseño estoy feliz de contarles que el Arquitectos Alejandro Vallejo Rivas y Michael Smith Masis han ganado dos premios en la Primera Bienal de Arquitectura de Centroamérica, ellos son una parte esencial de nuestro proyecto, su Atelier de Arquitectura Entrenos de Costa Rica esta trabajando con nosotros desde el inicio dandole forma a la Ecoaldea Vida Verde.

En especial Alejandro Vallejo Rivas que cuando le hablamos de la propuesta de inmediato se conecto con nosotros y nuestras ideas y sueños de concepto hacia una vida + verde y amigable con el medio ambiente y junto al equipo de Entrenos se sumo a darle forma al diseño de este hermoso proyecto a pesar de la distancia ya que ellos son de Costa Rica y nosotros de Venezuela, esto a sido posible gracias a la tecnologia hemos venido trabajando a distancia gracias .

Cueva de Luz

Premio en Arquitectura de Interes Social y Ambiental este fue construido en la Carpio San José de Costa Rica, La Cueva de Luz es realmente una una hermosa obra social que le hace honor a su nombre, es una centro de acción social que llena de luz a muchas personas un centro de acción social para la gente de escasos recursos.

Es un centro de formación de 4 pisos , donde dictan clases que van desde los mas pequeños hasta los adultos, musica, deportes y artes y oficios, un espacio hecha para la comunidad.

Para mi esta arquitectura tienen un gran atractivo, realizado en su mayoria con madera como lo podemos observar en esta foto yo soy una amante de la madera, me encantan los materiales nobles pero tengo una amor espacial por la madera y Alejandro y Michael son unos especialistas en ella y este hermoso edificio es un ejemplo de su conocimiento y trabajo aquitectonico con ella.

El diseño esta constituido por dos alas y en el centro e ellas esta la pasarela y via de acceso constituida por escalera y rampla que van desde la PB hasta el ultimo piso haciendo este espacio realmente funcional para todos.

En cada detalle se ve el amor que hay en el diseño que hace ver la pasión que hay por ellos en crear espacios funcionales y hermosos para las comunidades . La cueva de luz esta llena de ella esta maravillosas sombras que se crean con estas celosias hacen cumplen varias funciones, cerramiento, ventilación, luz es una belleza.

Centro de Capacitación Indígena Käpäcläjui

Premio en Arquitectura Civica y Educacionales con el Centro de Capacitación Indígena Käpäcläjui en Grano de Oro, Turrialba, Cartago, Costa Rica esta hermosa obra fue hecha para esta comunidad aborigen donde hacen vida activamente es un centro educativo y capacitación donde todos hacen vida.

Este consta de 2 plantas con techo alto a dos aguas donde esta ubicada esta segunda planta, donde vemos nuevamente la tecnica del uso de las celosias como cerramiento, ventilación e iluminación esta vez con mas formas que se fusionan que lo hacen ver como tejidos aborigenés se ve realmente hermoso

Entrenos demuestra que el diseño va mas allá de altos costos en materiales y presupuestos , la arquitectura sustentable también puede ser hermosa y esto lo demuestra estructuras de madera y materiales de costos accesibles que dan forma y belleza a sus obras que espero conocer al visitar Costa Rica y compartirlas con ustedes hasta la proxima.
