The 2 day rule

I am trying to post something everyday now for the foreseeable future since I got on medication, I have way more mental energy to work with after work. I am not tired all the time even if I have a long shift, so thats positive!

If I can't or don't post one day, its not the end of the world. Thats why I want to do the 2 day rule.

The only rule you will have to follow is simple enough: Don't let yourself take 2 days off in a row for any of your habits. Research shows that taking two days off makes you to lose the momentum and it is so much easier to skip more days to the point that you lose track completely.

So ye. You can skip 1 day as long as you keep it up on the second day, this allows you not to be as strict with yourself. Which can be good for alot of people, me included.
This can be applied to so many different habits since its so easy to follow right?

When I decided I was going to start writing at least one post a day on hive, it was difficult at first, so I joined the freewriters community where I could do a five minutes freewrite anytime I'm really stressed out or not just in a writing mode.
