Unemployed and tired of it + cant live on Crypto (yet)

Unemployed

So as the title says, I am unemployed and tired of it.
I have been unemployed since September 2020, so almost a year and its getting tiring as fuck. I have had periods where I didn't mind because I had stuff to do, but in other periods the only thing I do is watch yt and that shit is getting boring really quick!

I once had a good routine where I could workout a few days a week, but every since I fucked up my foot (2 months ago) I haven't been able to be there, its getting better and we are on the home stretch when it comes to my foot being normal, so I should after Tuesday have a "normal" foot, so I just have to force myself back into training and getting a routine again!

The problem for me with being unemployed is that I am a very social active person, I can talk to people for 10 hours a day and not get tired of it and get energy from it! Its amazing, so I need that in my life, but working in costumer service is fking shit balls so I have been trying to avoid that as much as I can! But I am getting to a point where I would rather just have a costumer service job just to do something other that staying at home all the time x) I go a bit crazy :p

I want to note that I live in Denmark and I have a union, so I do get paid a liveable salary from the union even though I am unemployed, so I am not fucked like I would be if I lived in the US.

Life expensive is also much higher here than in other place which leads me to the next subject: Crypto

Crypto

It would be amazing to be able to live off Crypto, but I am a long way off. I once calculated that I would need 56$ per day after taxes in order to live a "low" class life here in Denmark.
Which is why I am no where near being able to live off of what I have earned in Crypto so far, also why I don't take profits because it doesn't really make a difference in the long term.

I would properly need around 350k HP in order to make what I would need on a weekly basic from Hive and I am at 7.5k now :p

This is also why I have been focusing on getting a lot of Cub or as many as I could as fast as I could. That would yield way more than other things faster and I am completely trusting the Leo Team.

I just need to rant a bit, since its getting to me slowly.
But everything it gets to me, I flip on a dime, so thats amazing.
Going to be producing an application a day now to ramp up the changes of me getting a job!

I love the honesty. 3 months ago I quit my job to live solely on crypto. It gets boring, but I've been doing random odd jobs here and there just to have something to do. Mostly independent contractor work for different companies. Outside of that, I'm yield farming, trading, and trying to get as much Hive power as possible.

Thanks! Thats sounds amazing buddy!
Also awesome that you can do odd jobs here and there to have something to do and maybe earn a little bit, so you can cash out less crypto :D

Thats awesome!
I would love nothing more than to be able to that! It just takes a long time and a certain amount of capital in order to that!

Look into mystery shopping. I'm not sure how popular it is in Denmark, but it's very popular in the U.S. Companies hire independent contractors to visit their business undercover and evaluate/write a report. It's kinda fun and an easy way to make some extra money. Anything I can do to avoid selling crypto is a plus.

It sounds fun, but I am not sure it would be worth my time xD

I just looked at it, it says that I can make 100-500 dkk pr order, which is 15,85 - 79.23 usd pr order.
The minimus hourly rate in Denmark is around 120 dkk or 19,02 usd.

I would rather just be in a substitute bureau, then they will call you if they have short job for you, it can be a few days a week with payments up to 150 ddk an hour or 23.77 usd :D

But thanks!

Man, Denmark sounds dope! Seems you can actually make decent money. The U.S. is shit when it comes to minimum hourly wage it's still $7.25. Like what the hell.

I mean. Denmark is pretty awesome in that regard, but we also pay around 38% tax :P And up to 60% tax, but it covers a shit ton of things which is "free" with no upfront payment or very little :D

But yes, I made around 1600-1700 usd every single month when I worked as a slave in 7-11 with 37 hours a week :D Its not much, but its very liveable :D

Ye its quite insane haha!

You can view at as stocks vs crypto I guess.

Denmark is quite stable. You have a liveable wage, but high tax on everything including stocks + you dont have that much money left to enchance your own worth.

Where the USA can be way more volatile and requires more effort to earn a liveable wage :D
But you have options to invest in a % of a stock (we dont have that) and you can get paid more often from stocks (We get paid once every year)

There is pro and cons to both countries if you ask me :D

Also just on a random note, we don't really tip people here, not even our waitress because they also earn a minimum wage of 19 usd which is liveable :D

Very true. I like the stable one lol. In the U.S., your average waiter probably makes $3-4 per hour because tips are somehow part of their salary. Taxes are kinda crazy over here too, although I don't mess with stocks to really be able to speak to it.

Ye its insane that you have to live off tips xD

I dont know how taxes work in the usa, its confusing xD
Tax of dividends are around 27% here, so thats better to be paid in dividends than having a job :p

I've lived here my whole life and in different states. Couldn't explain them if I tried lol. That's amazing about dividends!

This is absolutely true, most time could be frustrating if not even more than that, but seasons come and go, the realities in the now is about seasons, it may not be Jummy like my friend would say but keep your faith alive because soon the rain will fall

I had no idea you are from Denmark. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us; makes those in the same situation feel less alone and now I know a little more about the economy in Denkmark. I'm always wondering how people are living in other parts of the world.

Hope you'll find something though and not just for the paycheck, but also something that you'll like.

You are welcome hehe.

Hope you'll find something though and not just for the paycheck, but also something that you'll like.

At this stage I would take anything just to get away from these 4 walls and talk to people :p

Sorry about the situation bro, I hope you get a good job that's not in customer care. It's kind of ironic that you like talking to people but hate customer service job lol.

Anyway, how's the crypto hustle going? Are you getting there yet?

Also, can $100 per day give someone a simple life in Denmark?
