Vaccation Mode
My 1 week vaccation started yesterday and I started it with getting a haircut, gotta look fresh&fly! And I also bought a new bag since the old one I had was competely destoryed.
Its just going to be a relaxing vaccation in my own country. No travel, no booked schedule, nothing really. Just relaxing.
Birthday
Only thing is my birthday this coming Sunday. Going to be 32 damn.
The family and I will be going out to eat Korean BBQ on Saturday. I am looking forward to it, I haven't tried it before :o
So lets go!
What do you get a 32 year ago guy, who don't really need anything and really doesn't use a lot of money?
Well, stocks would be the best idea at this. But since its only my Uncle and I, who knows how to buy stocks - this is highly unlikely to happen.
So I guess, money? So I can buy my own stocks?
Or expeneriences!
I gotta ask, is it normal to have like a budget per person or per family of the amount you give to someones birthday? Or is my family just "weird" on this.
I am kinda against it, I think we should have no budget. But everybody could create their own personal budget and then the person could wish for whatever they liked and the might get it or not, regardless of the price.
I do feel like its the perfect opportunity to write and research more and create posts for Hive, something I neglect on and off during to work and I have alot of things I want to achieve with Hive and posting more stuff will let me achieve it faster :D
Aha interesting, first of all happy vacation. I don't need to but I don't think that I can leave for one week boss will be mad at me 😬. I will be 32 years 😅. I am more concerned about my financial things.

Yes that is true although we do have 12 days leave not when I will take that. Not sure if I can take that in a row or not 🥺🙂
Thats not a lot and do you pay for it yourself?
Because our companies set aside a bit of money to cover our days when we go on vaccation, so we don't lose money while not working :D
No salary cut but we don't even get any overtime money 🙂🤫
Salary cut? This is not a salary cut. They have to do this by law.

Sad but true 🙂. I can't leave the job or is really to hard to get a Job these days here in my town. So i have to do it. 🙃. This is life the corporate companies took advantage of people like us. 😐

It sounds like you're planning to relax and enjoy your vacation, which is great. I think it's important to take some time for yourself to recharge and de-stress.
As for your birthday, it's hard to say what you should get without knowing more about your interests. But if you don't really need anything, I think experiences are always a good option. Maybe you could go on a day trip to a nearby city, or take a cooking class. Or, if you're into technology, you could ask for a new gadget or piece of software.
I'm not sure what the norm is for birthday budgets, but I think it's a good idea to have some kind of limit. Otherwise, people might feel obligated to spend more than they can afford. But I agree that it's important to be flexible and allow people to spend more if they want to.
I think it's great that you're planning to use your vacation time to write and research more for Hive. It sounds like you have a lot of goals for your Hive journey, and I'm sure you'll be able to achieve them if you put in the work.
I am interested in cultivating money to buy a house in 1-2 years :p

I could use experiences, but cooking is not one of them. Been living on my own for 12 years, I do know how to cook xD
But the budget also limits me, even if I want to use more money.
Well, I didn't write as much as I wanted too haha. But I have also been chilling and not doing much though :D
