Hello friends of hive and sketchbook! In my second publication in this community I wanted to experiment drawing an animal, the truth is that as I said before I have never specialized in drawing, I have not started to practice since I was a child and it is not that when I was like that, I was an expert but really, I want to learn little by little to draw different things.... . that's why I have chosen in the catalog of the steps to draw, a Squirrel, not only I chose it for my choice of wanting to learn how to draw an animal, but it also brings me a very sad memory of when I was a little more adolescent, that's why I wanted to call this drawing "The chance of a squirrel". .. one day when I was rehearsing in the park with my group mates, when I had to go home and we were walking in the middle of the park, we realized that a squirrel had fallen from a tree, the truth is that it made me very sad because, I know that it is the cycle of life and nature, but I still felt that even though it was a squirrel it could continue living much longer, but it was that moment that always remained this sad memory and reality in my life and I have never forgotten it, that is why we must learn to value everything we have, although sometimes it is difficult, we must not be influenced by bad things.
En mi segunda publicación en esta comunidad quise experimentar dibujando un animal, la verdad es que como he dicho antes nunca me he especializado en dibujar, no me he puesto a practicar desde que era pequeño y tampoco es que cuando era así, era un experto pero de verdad, quiero aprender así sea poco a poco a dibujar diferentes cosas... por eso he elegido en el catálogo que hay de los pasos para dibujar, a una Ardilla no solamente lo escogí por mí elección de querer aprender a dibujar a un animal, sino que también me trae un recuerdo muy triste de cuando estaba un poco más adolescente, es por eso que he querido llamar a este dibujo "La oportunidad de una ardilla"... un día cuando estaba ensayando en el parque junto con mis compañeros de grupo, cuando ya me tenían que ir a mi casa e íbamos caminando a mitad del parque, nos dimos cuenta de que una ardilla se había caído de un árbol, la verdad es que me puso muy triste ya que, sé que es el ciclo de la vida y de la naturaleza, pero aún así sentí que a pesar de que fuera una ardilla podía seguir viviendo mucho más tiempo, pero fue ese instante que siempre quedó esta triste recuerdo y realidad en mi vida y jamás se me ha olvidado, es por eso que hay que aprender a valorar todo lo que tenemos, aunque a veces sea difícil no hay que influenciarse por las cosas malas.
Step 1 / Paso 1
In the first step of the drawing I was asked to make the head and ears of the squirrel, honestly it was a little complicated to do it, because what I have heard when drawing is that it is very important the proportions of any animal or something that you want to draw very similar, and it was a little difficult for me to replicate the same head and ears.
En el primer paso el dibujo me mandaron hacer la cabeza y las orejas de la ardilla, honestamente fue un poco complicado poder hacerlo, ya que lo que he escuchado a la hora de dibujar es que es muy importante las proporciones de cualquier animal o algo que quieres dibujar muy similar, y a mí me costó un poco poder replicar la misma cabeza y las orejas.
Step 2 / Paso 2
In the second step I had to make the base of the body at this point I was getting a little nervous since it had been a while since I had drawn as I said before and it was a little complicated to draw the lines in the best possible way.
En el segundo paso tuve que realizar la base del cuerpo en este momento me estaba poniendo un poco nervioso ya que hace tiempo que no dibujaba como dije anteriormente Y se me complicaba un poco el trazar las líneas de la mejor manera posible.
Step 3 / Paso 3
The third step was not so complicated, I just had to recreate the squirrel's legs, making the base was a little easier and I really felt that my drawing was taking shape.
El tercer paso no era tan complicado, solamente tenía que recrear las patas de la ardilla hacer la base fue un poco más fácil y la verdad y en parte sentía que estaba tomando forma mi dibujo.
Step 4 / Paso 4
The fourth step, here I was confused and I must admit it hahaha, I thought I had to go over it with the strongest pencil, but it was just making a line on the boat, but it was still looking nice, forgive me, beginner's mistake.
El cuarto paso para mí fue uno de mis favoritos ya que tenía que hacerle sus manitas y sus brazos pero me pareció en la referencia de forma muy graciosa ya que parecían unos guantes de boxeo y me gustó mucho esta parte.
Step 5 / Paso 5
The fifth step was to make the base of the tail, it was really a little complicated even though it doesn't look like that, for me it is, because the tail had to be not so big so it wouldn't be so exaggerated, but not so small and out of proportion, so it was a little complicated for me to make it.
El quinto paso fue hacer la base de la cola, de verdad que fue un poquito complicado a pesar de que no se vea así, para mí sí lo es, ya que la cola tenía que ser no tan grande para que no fuera tan exagerada, pero tampoco tan pequeña y fuera de proporción, entonces se me complicó un poco para realizarla.
Step 6 / Paso 6
As I had the base of the whole squirrel in the sixth step began the details, first were the details of the face I had to make the eyes and mouth of the squirrel was not so complicated but for someone who is drawing prize It was normal but a little difficult for me.
Ya como tenía la base de toda la ardilla en el sexto pasó comenzaban los detalles, primero fueron los detalles de la cara tuve que realizar los ojos y la boca de la ardilla no fue tan complicado pero para alguien que está premio dibujar Fue normal pero un poquito difícil para mí.
Step 7 / Paso 7
The seventh step was the small details of the squirrel's hands. To be honest, I have never had any kind of hand, not even human hands.
El séptimo paso eran los pequeños detalles de las manos de la ardilla siéndole sincero nunca me han salido cualquier tipo de mano ni siquiera las de humano Y fue muy difícil para mí hacer unas de un animal pero hice lo que pude.
Step 8 / Paso 8
The eighth step was to make the details of the squirrel's feet and the little toes. At the beginning I felt that I was not getting it right but I did not lose faith to keep trying.
El octavo pasó pueden realizar los detalles de los pies de la ardilla los pequeños dedos en parte al inicio sentía que no me estaba saliendo pero no perdía la fe en seguir intentándolo.
Step 9 / Paso 9
The ninth part, did not require much, just a few lines above the sail to give it more realism and to make it look better.
La novena parte, no exigía mucho solo hacerle unas lineas por encima de la vela para darle como a las otras cosas mas realismo y se viera mejor.
Step 10 / Paso 10
So far I felt and saw that the squirrel was coming out a little different from the reference, but I still wanted to finish it to see how it looked, the ninth step was to make the details of the tail and arm, more specifically to make the little hairs one by one to look realistic and look like the squirrel, the truth is that this step was a little easy, only that making realistic things does take time and is complicated, but I will continue practicing little by little to learn to master this technique.
Hasta ahora sentía y veía que la ardilla me estaba saliendo un poco diferente a la de la referencia, pero aún así quería terminarla para ver cómo me quedaba, el noveno paso fue hacer los detalles de la cola y el brazo, más específicamente hacer los pelitos uno por uno para que se vean realistas y parecieran de la ardilla, la verdad es que este paso fue un poco fácil, solo que hacer cosas realistas si lleva su tiempo y es complicado, pero seguiré practicando poco a poco para aprender a dominar esta técnica.
The eleventh step was to continue marking the details of the little hairs but now this time on the leg and a little more on the arms, also on her face and other parts.
El onceavo paso fue seguir marcando los detalles de los pelitos pero ahora esta vez en la pierna y un poco más en los brazos, también en su carita y en otras partes más.
And the last step was to highlight with the pencil with a little more force the parts of the squirrel that are going to stand out the most, such as its body and face, and to erase a little bit the scratches that I had to make previously for the base of the squirrel.
Y el último paso fue remarcar con el lápiz con un poco más de fuerza las partes de la ardilla que más van a Resaltar como su cuerpo su cara y borrar un poco los Rayones que tuve que realizar anteriormente para la base de la ardilla.
It was a nice experience to be able to recreate this complete drawing, I hope you really liked how it turned out, it was not totally the same because as I said, it is important that when drawing it is very important to respect the proportions of such a drawing, and I am still learning about the technique and how important the little things are, but I am very happy with how it turned out and I will continue practicing so that someday I will know how to draw much better.
Fue una linda experiencia poder recrear este dibujo completo, espero que de verdad les haya gustado como me quedó, no Fue totalmente igual ya que como dije, es importante que a la hora de dibujar se respeten mucho las proporciones de tal dibujo, y yo todavía sigo aprendiendo al respecto de la técnica y lo importante que son las pequeñas cosas, igual estoy muy feliz de cómo me quedó y seguiré practicando para que algún día sepa dibujar mucho mejor.
