[ESP/ENG]When friends become brothers in life!

Hola amigos!!! Le envío unos saludos llenos de buena energía y amor para esta emotiva comunidad de #Family&Friends, me encantó la esencia de esta comunidad y quisiera compartir con ustedes mis vivencias con miembros de mi familia y amigos.

Quiero hacer este post motivada por el amor, lealtad y unión que se puede generar de una amistad y que a pesar de no compartir el mismo tipo de sangre se pueda crear un lazo tan fuerte que te lleva a ver a esa persona no sólo como un amigo, sino más como un hermano(a).

Mi mejor amigo se llama Jhon Jiménez, nos conocimos ambos en la universidad estudiando la misma carrera de Diseño Gráfico. Conectamos de inmediato y me pareció un chico muy interesante, con un sentido del humor increíble, inteligente y sensible.

Lo mas loco de todo es que no lo vi con ojos de “amor" porque a pesas que es muy simpático no fue lo que me conecto a él, mientras nos conocimos fuimos descubriendo lo mucho en común que teníamos y llegamos a un punto que sólo con las miradas nos decíamos todo.
Pasaron los meses y fui incluyéndolo en mi vida: Cumpleaños, fiestas familiares, conciertos, salidas a bailar, etc. Pasó de ser un simple conocido a mi cómplice de aventuras, mi pañuelo de lágrimas y mi confidente especial.

Es increíble como una persona que no sea de tu propia familia puede llegar a conectarse contigo tanto y que sientas el valor de la verdadera amistad. Tenemos nuestros carácter y hemos tenido momentos de desacuerdo, pero siempre ha existido el perdón y que al ser diferentes no excluye que contaremos el uno con el otro
Jhon ha estado en mis peores momentos dándome apoyo y con unas palabras que refrescan mi alma angustiada, cuando me embarace por primera vez estaba aterrada y el simplemente me abrazó y me dijo: ¡Voy hacer tío! Eso me calmó tanto, porque su risa y mirada me dieron eso… Confianza.

Me enseñó a respetar las diferencias

Cuándo teníamos 1 año de amistad Jhon me hizo una confesión ese día me invitó un café en nuestro lugar favorito y con lágrimas en sus ojos me dijo: Amiga ¡Soy Gay! Yo al principio me quedé congelada pero por no saber que decirle para que no se sintiera mal, al contario que viera en mí que lo acepto y apoyo como es y por lo que siente.

Yo vengo de una familia cristiana hasta la médula y para mi este tema era un tabú, conocerlo, sentir su tristeza al no ser aceptado por miembros de su familia y ver que el sólo quiere una cosa: amar y ser amado, eso me hizo entenderlo y amarlo por lo que es. Comprendí que su preferencia no lo definía como persona, que tiene miles de cualidades que lo hacen único y que de mi parte siempre tendrá una amiga que lo adora, respeta y que será su apoyo en todo momento.

No solo es mi amigo… ¡Es mi hermano!

Siento que Dios me brindo la oportunidad de tener un 4to hermano más y ese es Jhon, tenemos tantas anécdotas juntos, los recuerdos de nuestras vivencias siempre están en mi corazón.

Actualmente vivimos muy lejos uno del otro, él en España y yo en Venezuela y su partida fue uno de los momentos mas amargos para mi, pero siempre estamos en comunicación y un mensaje de ¡buenos días! No puede faltar.

Para mí es importante la amistad y la que tengo con Jhon la valoro muchísimo, tener a ese amigo (a) en el que puedes confiar y recurrir en todo momento es maravilloso. En un libro leí una vez que la amistad es una dulce responsabilidad, está en lo correcto debemos mantener a salvo a nuestras amistades, atenderlas, preocuparnos, motivarlos y amarlos.

Espero verte pronto mi amado Jhon! ¡Te extraño!

Hello friends!!! I send you greetings full of good energy and love for this touching community of #Family&Friends, I loved the essence of this community and I would like to share with you my experiences with members of my family and friends.

I want to make this post motivated by the love, loyalty and union that can be generated from a friendship and that despite not sharing the same blood type can create a bond so strong that leads you to see that person not only as a friend, but more like a brother (a).

My best friend's name is Jhon Jimenez, we both met in college studying the same career of Graphic Design. We connected immediately and I found him to be a very interesting guy, with an incredible sense of humor, intelligent and sensitive.

The craziest thing of all is that I didn't see him with "love" eyes because even though he is very nice it wasn't what connected me to him, while we met we discovered how much we had in common and we reached a point that just by looking at each other we could tell each other everything.

Months went by and I started including him in my life: birthdays, family parties, concerts, going out to dance, etc. He went from being a simple acquaintance to my accomplice in my adventures, my handkerchief of tears and my special confidant.

It's amazing how a person who is not from your own family can connect with you so much and make you feel the value of true friendship. We have our characters and we have had moments of disagreement, but there has always been forgiveness and that being different does not exclude that we will count on each other.

Jhon has been there in my worst moments giving me support and with words that refresh my anguished soul, when I got pregnant for the first time I was terrified and he just hugged me and told me: I'm going to be an uncle! That calmed me down so much, because his laugh and look gave me that... Confidence.

He taught me to respect differences

When we had 1 year of friendship Jhon made me a confession that day he invited me for a coffee in our favorite place and with tears in his eyes he told me: Girlfriend I'm Gay! At the beginning I was frozen but I didn't know what to tell him so he wouldn't feel bad, on the contrary I wanted him to see in me that I accept him and support him as he is and for what he feels.

I come from a Christian family to the core and for me this topic was a taboo, knowing him, feeling his sadness at not being accepted by members of his family and seeing that he only wants one thing: to love and be loved, that made me understand him and love him for what he is. I understood that his preference did not define him as a person, that he has thousands of qualities that make him unique and that from me he will always have a friend who adores him, respects him and will be his support at all times.

He is not only my friend... He is my brother!

I feel that God gave me the opportunity to have a 4th brother and that is Jhon, we have so many anecdotes together, the memories of our experiences are always in my heart.

At the moment we live far away from each other, he in Spain and I in Venezuela and his departure was one of the most bitter moments for me, but we are always in communication and a good morning message! You can't miss it.

For me friendship is important and the one I have with John I value very much, having that friend that you can trust and turn to at all times is wonderful. In a book I once read that friendship is a sweet responsibility, you are right, we must keep our friendships safe, take care of them, worry about them, motivate them and love them.
