{ENG/SPN} Bubble bouquet/Ramo de burbujas

avatar

Hello to everyone in this community. Balloons always bring good cheer and smiles. We recently had a children's birthday party and I was wondering what to get the birthday girl's mother. Everyone was going to bring her a bouquet of flowers or maybe a flower in a pot. I wanted to present something original, not so common and something that would make my friend very happy. And I thought to myself: what more original way to make her happy than to give her a bouquet of artificial flowers with a bubble balloon on top filled with a few small balloons. I got busy and made it myself at home. This gift is a suitable substitute for a bouquet of flowers and also fits for a variety of occasions - birthday, wedding, christening, anniversary or perhaps for a romantic surprise. The options are varied depending on how far your imagination stretches.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 bubble balloon with a diameter of 45 centimeters (there are options to have a filling of confetti or feathers)
  • 4 pink and 3 white small balloons with a diameter of 12-13 centimeters (or another color of your choice)
  • Stick for the balloon
  • A small gift box with a lid (I used a round one, but a square or rectangular one will do)
  • Flower sponge (they use it very often in flower shops)
  • Satin ribbons about 5-6 meters
  • Artificial flowers and leaves
  • A handful of pearl stones or whatever you prefer

Tools needed for making:

  • Silicone gun with fillers
  • Balloon pump
  • Instant glue
  • Scissors

First inflate your balloon with the little bubbles on the stick. Then cut the flower sponge according to the shape of the gift box. Put it in the box leaving 2-3 centimetres of empty space at the top.

Cover the box with satin tape using a silicone gun. Then glue to the bottom of the box again with silicone.

Where there is empty space on the flower sponge, glue the artificial flowers with silicone.

Then glue the pearl stones along the edge of the gift box. Finally, add the artificial petals. Mine were wired so I just stuck them between the flowers.

When you are done decorating the box, stick the balloon in the middle. Drop two silicone strips to cross at the top of the balloon and the ends to end in the box of artificial flowers. Glue the ends of the silicone strips to the box. Make a ribbon from the satin ribbon and glue it where the two ribbons cross using instant glue.

Your original gift is ready.
