Hello, all my hiver friends! How are you today? I hope we have a great midweek. I already have a few of my articles, about the museums of Danang city. In today's article, I will continue to write about a museum of Da Nang city. This museum is one of the museums of historical significance to the Vietnamese nation. The museum that I would like to introduce is the Military Zone 5 Museum, this is a museum that keeps the war remnants of Vietnam. In addition, inside the Military Zone 5 museum, there is another museum that is the Ho Chi Minh museum. This is a museum named after a leader of the Vietnamese nation. In addition to articles about famous tourist attractions of Da Nang city, I will have a few articles about museums of Da Nang city. The museum is always a place to keep historical values and works of art. The first thing when coming to a certain country to explore, you will learn about the history of development, the natural landscape, and the people in that land. It is the above factors that have motivated me to write this article today.

The beginning of the article is the introduction of the Military Zone IV museum. Military Zone 5 Museum is a museum of war remnants in Vietnam. When asking any Vietnamese citizen about the nation's history, many people will feel shivers when recalling a time of the fire and bomb destruction in previous centuries. Vietnam is a resilient country, experiencing 1000 years of Chinese colonial rule. More than 100 years of French colonial rule and more than 21 years of dividing the country during the Vietnam War. Experiencing the ups and downs of history, Vietnamese people have always wanted to live in a peaceful and independent nation. Military Zone 5 Museum is a place, helping future generations to understand the great merits of the national heroes who sacrificed and protected the nation. To have peace like today.

Inside the Military Zone, 5 museum is a place to store the victories during the Vietnam War, from 1954 to 1975. As everyone knows, after 1954 when the Geneva agreement ended the Indochina war. The country of Vietnam is divided into two South and North at the 17th parallel. The North will be the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, led by President Ho Chi Minh. Recognized by the Soviet Union and Socialist countries, the capital is Hanoi. The South will be the State of Vietnam, headed by the head of state, Bao Dai. With the support of France and the United States and recognition by Western countries, the capital is located in Saigon city. Military Zone 5 is one of the 7 Military Zones of the Vietnam People's Army, the operational range of Military Zone 5 in the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands of Vietnam. During the war years, Military Zone 5 had many important victories, helping Vietnam to reunify the country in 1975. Currently, the headquarters of Military Zone 5 is located in Da Nang city.

Military Zone 5 Museum is located at 3 Duy Tan Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City. The museum is located in a very convenient location for traffic, you can easily come here by different means such as bus, taxi, motorbike. The museum is open to visitors from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, except for the first Monday of the week, it is not allowed to visit, because this is when all units of Military Region 5 begin the flag-raising ceremony and division of duties. Military Zone 5 Museum will be completely free to visit, for Vietnamese visitors. International visitors will buy tickets with the ticket price of 60,000 Vnd (equivalent to 2 US dollars).

The museum is a place to store artifacts and documents related to the resistance wars of the Vietnamese people. The outdoor area of the museum is an area where military equipment is displayed from the Saigon regime. When I was a child, every time I passed this road, I could easily see the battle machines and tanks from the outside, I enjoyed coming to this place to visit. You can recognize the weapons of the United States, appearing a lot in this area. An example is the A 37 attack aircraft, which is an American light bomber made in the 1960s. Along with the M41 light tanks, the UH1 helicopter. The area also displays a lot of Soviet weapons such as MiG21 fighters, which rival the US F-4 Phantom fighters. There are many types of combat weapons on display in this place, to name them all, it would take a very long article. The gallery inside the museum is where the war documents are kept, along with artifacts that recreate the images of the Vietnamese army's struggle. Things kept in the museum are not only vestiges of the war, but also historical memoirs and sacrifices of heroes in the cause of peacekeeping. The war images in the museum are not sowing hatred and crimes for us, but the indomitable resilience of the Vietnamese people. From there, it can help us to rebuild and re-develop the country after the war.

Inside the Military Zone 5 museum, there is another museum called the Ho Chi Minh museum. As everyone knows, Ho Chi Minh is the leader of Vietnam. It was he who helped the country to abolish the old feudal system, along with the revolutionary path to turn Vietnam into a socialist country. The road leading to the museum is planted with many trees, with beautiful roots growing into the ground, this area also has a blue lake, the lake recreates the image of the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

After going all the way, we will see the Ho Chi Minh museum appear right in front of our eyes, Outside the museum is steps leading us to the place of the Ho Chi Minh memorial. Stepping inside this house is a room decorated in a dignified way, in the middle of the room is a statue of leader Ho Chi Minh. You can burn incense in memory of the late President Ho Chi Minh in this room.

Behind the main memorial, the room is the Ho Chi Minh museum area, the museum area consists of two floors and 4 galleries, introducing the life and revolutionary career of leader Ho Chi Minh. In this room, I keep many pictures of Ho Chi Minh in the liberation of the country. Ho Chi Minh's real name is Nguyen Sing Cung, he was born in 1890. Under the exploitation of the French colonialists, for the Vietnamese people. Then in 1911, Nguyen Sinh Cung took the name Van Ba. Leaving Vietnam to go to France to find a way to save the country. After many years of traveling to many western countries, he had 50 to 200 different aliases. Experiencing difficulties in foreign countries, he followed the line of thought of Marxism-Leninism and it was he who founded the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1930. Along with his struggles until 1945 on September 2, he stood on Ba Dinh square in Hanoi. Read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. He was also the one who led Vietnam to fight against France and the US. It was also on September 2, 1969, that he passed away, at the age of 79. After 6 years of his death with his revolutionary line, Vietnam reunified the country on April 30, 1975, ending the Vietnam War and living in peace until today.

The first-floor area of the museum is memorabilia of Ho Chi Minh, along with models of his life from his days in Vietnam, to his days in western countries. There are many pictures of his youth through each stage. Looking at these pictures, I feel very grateful for the fight to protect the peace of Vietnam.

The area on the 2nd floor is the area to display the images of him returning to Vietnam to establish the national liberation revolution. Here I saw the ingenious ways and leadership of the tube, which brought great victories in two wars for national peace. In addition to the memorabilia kept by the Communist Party of Vietnam, it is impossible not to mention the image of heroic Vietnamese mothers. To fight for peace, it was the mothers who silently sacrificed themselves for the cause of national liberation and defense of the country. The loss of Vietnamese mothers during the war is a silent sacrifice, some mothers have lost up to 9 children in their families, it can be said that it is these losses that can see the devastation. The horrors of war bring to mankind. After visiting all the museums here, I feel very lucky to be living in human peace. In recent years, when the world always has national antagonisms, the hot spots can happen any war conflict. With the potential risks of instability, I still wish that all countries can resolve their antagonisms and develop the country together.

That's some impressive pieces for sure! I used to love visiting places like this but now with the war almost being started between Russia and Ukraine, I get a weird feeling everytime I see something military. Ukraine is next to my country and hence why I'm so scared 😢
