There is always this pressure among this new generation. They want to show off immediately and it's even costing them their life and that is a very bad thing. Immediately you are trying as much as possible to make sure everybody knows that you are rich, you are big, you are successful right now.
You are actually losing it. That's just the simple truth. If you are rich and wealthy and successful, you don't need to show off to prove this to anyone.
It's going to show in the amount of businesses, the cash flow, the people that you employed and stuff like that. Those are the true definitions of success. When you have helped other people to actually reach their own life goals.
Sometimes when you look at people online, you wonder if life is being slow for you because if you are going to use their own life to gauge yours, you will be depressed and sad. Especially on Instagram, when people buy new cars, open new business, claim that they made thousands of dollars in a week. Even in the tech space, there are a lot of pressure that people are pushing out every day and it's all based on lies.
None of them are true in any way. So if you decide to let your life be pressured down by this, you will surely be at the receiving end. That's the first part.
The second part is you will be depressed and you will be asking yourself questions which you are not supposed to ask yourself, which will make you to doubt if you are living a good life. Whereas those whom you are using to gauge or use as a yardstick for your own life are lying through their nose and they are in a lot of debt. There is also nothing to write home about about them, only their Instagram post that is filled with flashy pictures.
If your business is going slow and there is no losses that is going on, I think you have to thank your stars because you are still one of the most successful people in the world. The earlier the better, people understand that there is a very good definition of success that is based or rooted in integrity. Though whenever you are trying to look successful, people will notice you, respect will flow in easily and people will assume that everything is going fine with you.
Though we all know that business can be boring outside and there are also a lot of things that people perceive as being rich. Being successful does not mean you are a business, it can also mean that you are working under someone as an apprentice or a manager. All that you have to do is to understand your level of success based on the level where you are at that point in time.
Don't maintain a false image, that's a very bad thing to do. Learn to build quietly, learn safe, make mistakes as fast as possible and work on it, then you start again. If people underestimate you, there is no problem in that.
You don't have to prove yourself to anybody. Sometimes one of the smartest things that anyone can do in life is to look ordinary at every point in time while you are making every effort to build an extraordinary life.

STOPEs interesante tu punto de vista, pero creo que existe un sesgo sobre la apariencia de ser exitoso. En la serie Suits, uno de los abogados veteranos le explica al novato que la imagen del éxito que tu proyectas te sirve para ganarte el respeto de los clientes. Existen códigos sociales donde tu talento solo es reconocido si tú lo promocionas, ¿qué pasa cuando eres talentoso pero no lo promocionas?
Te pagan menos, otros se llevan el crédito por tus ideas o tu trabajo, no te ascienden, pierdes oportunidades laborales. Es fácil decir que no esta bien vender una imagen de éxito, pero el problema es que cuando uno se niega a hacerlo, puede perder muchas oportunidades laborales que le ayuden a mejorar sus condiciones de vida. Así que uno debe evaluar con honestidad, cuanto de la farsa social me sirve para mejorar mis condiciones de vida y cuanta es complemente innecesaria. Porque aunque en un mundo ideal deberían evaluarnos unicamente en base a nuestro talento, pero la verdad es que nos evaluan en función de nuestra capacidad para darlo a conocer, porque si la gente no lo conoce, socialmente es como si no existiera.

You are correct: faking it and trying to seek belonging to a circle of fake busybodies that do not appreciate living a real life. In the end, indebtedness, restlessness, and fear will become the order of the day for the individual. Living real gives peace and good health.
