HOMENAJE A MI MADRE (ESP) (ENG)

Today I want to dedicate a space to tell you a little about my mother.
My mother had me when she was 36 years old, at that age she was surprised by my arrival but she was happy, I am the youngest of 3 siblings.

Hoy quiero dedicar un espacio para contarles un poco acerca de mi madre.
Mi mama me tuvo a sus 36 años, ella a esa edad se sorprendió de mi llegada pero estuvo feliz, soy la menor de 3 hermanos .

My mom also has 3 siblings, she is a fighter, hard worker, good person and animal lover, so you can say that I inherited that from her, my mom started working since she was 20 years old in a psychiatric hospital in the administrative area, she was there for many years until that hospital had to close and she was transferred to another hospital, where she worked in the warehouse area, where the medicines were kept. There she learned a lot about medicine, health, symptoms, etc., she really knows a lot, she is an incredible woman, in all the work places she was loved for her wonderful commitment to her work.

Mi mama también tiene 3 hermanos, es una mujer luchadora, trabajadora, buena persona y amante de los animales, así que se puede decir que eso lo herede de ella, mi mama comenzó a trabajar desde sus 20 años en un hospital psiquiátrico en el área administrativo, allí estuvo muchos años hasta que ese hospital tuvo que cerrar y la trasladaron a otro hospital, donde allí trabajo en el área de almacén, donde se guardaban las medicinas. Allí aprendió mucho acerca de medicina, salud síntomas etc., realmente sabe mucho es una mujer increíble, en todos los sitios de trabajo la amaron por su maravilloso empeño en su labor.

Remembering a little of my childhood, it was very happy thanks to her, I was able to know many places in my country thanks to her, there was not something that denied me if it was within her reach, the truth very happy and blessed to have her, when I was going to turn 15, I wanted with all my strength a big party and she did the impossible, she asked for a loan in a bank to fulfill my big dream, and it was an unforgettable night, all thanks to her.

Recordando un poco de mi niñez, fue muy feliz gracias a ella, pude conocer muchos lugares de mi país gracias a ella, no hubo algo que me negara si estaba a su alcance, la verdad muy una niña muy feliz y bendecida por tenerla, cuando iba a cumplir 15 años, yo deseaba con todas mis fuerzas una gran fiesta y ella hizo hasta lo imposible, pidió un préstamo en un banco para poder cumplir mi gran sueño, y fue una noche inolvidable, todo gracias a ella.

When I was 16 years old I got sick and was hospitalized for 6 days, days in which she never left me nor stopped praying for my recovery, I had excellent care in the hospital and all because she worked there and as I was her daughter, everyone in the hospital gave me excellent care. In my life I have been sick many times and whatever my age is, she takes care of me and takes care of me as if I were a little girl, in 2020 I was sick again and she took care of me and never left me alone, recently days ago I had felt a little sick and my mom went to buy me some medicine and brought it to my house, she surprised me because although I am 28 years old, she does not stop seeing me and taking care of me as a little girl.

Cuando tenia 16 años me enferme y estuve hospitalizada 6 días, días en la cual jamás se separo de mi ni dejo de orar por mi recuperación, tuve una excelente atención en el hospital y todo gracias a que ella trabajo allí y como yo era su hija, todos en el hospital me dieron una atención excelente. En mi vida me he enfermado muchas veces y sea cual sea mi edad, ella me cuida y atiende como si fuese una niña pequeña, en el año 2020 estuve nuevamente enferma y ella me cuido y jamás me dejo sola, recientemente hace días me había sentido un poco mal y mi mama fue a comprarme una medicina y me la trajo hasta mi casa, me sorprendió ya que aunque tengo 28 años, no deja de verme y cuidarme como una niña pequeña.

The day I got married she helped me with absolutely everything, decoration, food, cab etc., she gives me advice and always wants the best for me, she loves animals and whenever she sees a stray animal she gives it food or helps it, years ago by my mom's house there was an abandoned dog, my mom tried to take it to her house but the dog did not want to, so every day she went to feed it, in the mornings, afternoons and nights, even though it was not hers, she took care of it as if it were hers.

El día que me fui a casar ella me ayudo en absolutamente todo, decoración, comida, taxi etc., me aconseja y siempre desea lo mejor para mi, ella ama a los animales y siempre que ve a un animal callejero le da comida o los ayuda, hace años por la casa de mi mama había una perrita abandonada, mi mama trato de llevársela a su casa pero la perrita no quiso, así que todos los días le iba a echar comida, en las mañanas, tardes y noche, aunque no fuese de ella, la cuidaba como si fuese de ella.

The truth could continue the stories about my mom and I would not reach just one post, I can say that when you have children, I want to be exactly a mother like mine, not all people are lucky enough to have a good mother, and for that I thank God for sending me the one I got, I would not change anything about her, although my grandmother, my mother's mother, was not very loving or affectionate with her, my mom did not want to repeat patterns or bad things, and has always chosen to be excellent in everything she does.

La verdad podría seguir las historias acerca de mi mama y no me alcanzaría solo un post, puedo decir que cuando tengas hijos, quiero ser exactamente una madre como la mía, no todas las personas tienen la suerte de tener una buena madre, y por eso le agradezco a Dios que me haya enviado a la que me toco, no cambiaria nada de ella, a pesar que mi abuela, la mama de mi madre, no fue muy amorosa o afectiva con ella, mi mama no quiso repetir patrones o cosas malas, y siempre ha elegido ser excelente en todo lo que hace.

For me she is an example of perseverance, that dreams can be fulfilled no matter how old you are, now she is a graduate, and thanks to her I am also a graduate, without her in my life I would not have been able to finish my studies.

Por motivos de la vida no pudo culminar sus estudios cuando era mas joven y los culmino ya mayor, para mi es un ejemplo de perseverancia, que los sueños se pueden cumplir sin importar la edad que tengas, ahora ella es licenciada, y gracias a ella es que yo también soy licenciada, sin ella en mi vida yo no hubiese podido culminar mis estudios.

We should thank our mothers for their work that never ends, no matter how old we are, they will always be there for us.

Debemos agradecer a nuestras madres por su labor que jamás termina, tengamos la edad que tengamos, ella siempre van a estar allí para nosotros.
