Preparando Arañitas de lechosa (Esp-Eng)

Hola amigos de Hive esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad, me gustan mucho los dulces como a todo niño de mi edad y hoy quise mostrarles el paso a paso de este dulce que me gusta mucho, es necesario que le pidas ayuda a un adulto para su preparación, sino estas acostumbrado a trabajar con cuchillos.

Este es un dulce derivado del tradicional dulce de lechosa solo que la forma de picarlo es diferente, ya que para hacer arañitas debes picarla en tiras muy pequeñas.

Hello friends of Hive, this is my first publication in this community, I like sweets as much as any child of my age and today I wanted to show you the step by step of this sweet that I like very much, it is necessary that you ask for help from an adult for its preparation, if you are not used to work with knives.
This is a sweet derived from the traditional dulce de lechosa but the way of chopping it is different, because to make arañitas you must chop it in very small strips.

Necesitaras:
1 Lechosa verde (la mía pesaba 2 kilos y medio)
1 Kilo de azúcar
2 sobres de clavos de olor
1 litro de agua aproximadamente.

Paso a paso:

Lo primero que hice fue tumbar la lechosa, en la parte de atrás de mi apartamento hay un pedacito de tierra y ahí sembramos varias matas de lechosa, esta es la única que nos queda y es una mata muy alta, aquí estoy montado en un banco patas largas y aun así no llegaba, tuve que ayudarme con un rastrillo.

2 sachets of cloves
1 liter of water approximately.
Step by step
The first thing I did was to cut down the milkweed, in the back of my apartment there is a little piece of land and there we planted several bushes of milkweed, this is the only one we have left and it is a very tall bush, here I am mounted on a bench with long legs and even so I could not reach it, I had to help me with a rake.

Después la lavé, pelé completa y le saqué todas las semillas a la lechosa y después con un cuchillo afilado corte la lechosa en pedazos, luego los piqué en tiras finas, este paso me costo mucho y me dejo la mano adolorida.

Then I washed it, peeled it completely and took out all the seeds from the milkweed and then with a sharp knife I cut the milkweed into pieces, then I chopped them into thin strips, this step cost me a lot and left my hand sore.

Al cortar en tiritas toda la lechosa las puse juntas en un caldero grande y le eche el agua.

Cutting all the milky leaves into strips, I put them together in a large pot and poured the water over them.

Con ayuda de mi mamá la montamos en la candela a fuego alto, ahí le incorporamos la mitad del azúcar y los clavos de olor, cocinamos por un rato, revolvimos y después tapamos para que el agua se fuese secando.

With my mother's help we put it in the candle on high heat, then we added half of the sugar and the cloves, we cooked for a while, stirred and then we covered it so that the water would dry out.

Ya cuando el agua esté secando le incorporamos el resto del azúcar para que se vuelva un caramelo, removimos constantemente para evitar que se quemara y ya pasado media hora pudimos evidenciar que el agua se transformó en un almíbar.

When the water is drying we add the rest of the sugar so that it becomes a caramel, we stir constantly to prevent it from burning and after half an hour we could see that the water was transformed into a syrup.

Seguidamente, preparé una bandeja plástica con unas hojas blancas y con ayuda de una cucharilla fui sacando bolitas de dulce y comencé a formar arañitas de lechosa, hasta dejar enfriar y así estas se endurecieron un poco.

Next, I prepared a plastic tray with some white sheets and with the help of a spoon I took out little balls of candy and began to form little milky spiders, until I let them cool and they hardened a little.

Fui acomodándolas una a una y al final tuve ese rico resultado, el cual me gusto mucho, por estar picado en tiras finas se ve como si fueran las patitas de una araña, se colocan unas ocho tiritas aproximadamente.

I was arranging them one by one and at the end I had this rich result, which I liked very much, because it is chopped in thin strips, it looks like the legs of a spider, about eight strips are placed approximately.
