Blogging is never an easy task especially for beginners on the platform. it takes a great deal of consistency, creativity, diligence, patience, passion and persistence to blog on a daily basis. Many at times you might run out of ideas of what to blog about and at this stage you're left with no other option but quitting the platform for the day. It is often said that "winners never quit while quitters never wins" and moreso, "the road to success is never an easy one." So in the course of running your daily blog page you're required to never relent or quit irrespective of the fact that you might be discouraged at some points in time especially when situations are not turning out as expected.

Below are possible ways you can earn rewards on hive aside from personal blogging. These include;

  1. Post Comment: Consistent engagement through daily commentary is a necessity for all blogging authors to receive feedback on their post in return. You may never know if you're making progress or not provided your post isn't receiving the necessary attention or feedback it ought to. So in comparison with others, an author will be more redundant when his/her performance is not properly weighed and given an applicable feedback. So, commenting on the post of other authors within the ecosystem is very important and besides, this may earn you a mark of support and recognition from some other users of the blockchain.

  2. Participating in Community Live Chats: It is often said that "availability gives rise to accessibility. So your presence means a lot to the #blockchain as interactions are been initiated by users in mutual mannerism. Engaging in live chats with other authors through active hive community platforms or discord channels is another way of earning recognition and support on hive. When you participate in a given community group chat you get to contribute, learn and explore more possibilities that comes your way and by so doing, you earn more recognition and support when due. So never ignore or underestimate this aspect of #hive but rather incorporate this as your genome.

  3. Trading: This is another way of earning rewards on hive. Trading is simply the act of buying and selling of goods and services. This has been made possible through the emergence of the hive engine, tribaldex, leodex, leopedia and so on. Before trading one must first acquire the basic knowledge of the algorithms of trading and realize the fact that the cryptomarket can be volatile at times. Also, you'll need to trade with consciousness and at the right time to avoid loss of your hard earned cryptos.

  4. Participating in Daily or Weekly Community Contests and Challenges: One of the certain ways of earning on the hive ecosystem is by participating in daily and weekly contests and challenges organised by leaders of diverse communities. You can get to know more about this when you explore through each communities on hive to know which is initiating a contest or challenge. One thing to bear in mind is the fact that you're expected to abide by the community and contest rules and regulations before participating by making your post entry to such a community. Please keep this in mind.

  5. Delegation & Voting for Hive Witnesses: This is for meant for both active and expecially; inactive stake holders having substantial amount of hive power who wish to earn curation rewards on daily basis. Once you delegate to the rightful sources you'll be rest assured of getting rewarded in return. Voting for some Hive Witnesses also earn you liquid hive reward on a daily basis as well.

  6. Hive Gaming: Though I'm not yet vast in the knowledge of hive gaming but it has been said to be of financial benefit to many users within the hive ecosystem who leverage on gaming as part of way to have fun and earn liquids hive rewards as well. Some of these games are facilitated by @steemmonsters which include sphinterland, dcity game and so on. I got to know about one today known as "God on Chain" while i was exploring through communities on hive. You can as well explore through all these games to learn more about them for better understanding of their takes and their benefits.

I'll be digging deeper on the respective outline above on my next post. Please take a moment to explore the hive blockchain, the respective communities tribes, the hive-engine, tribaldex, leopedia, leodex. Get to know more about your hive statistical progress on hivestats.io/@yourusername and support the work of other authors within the blockchain via your engagement and by so doing, you're adding value to the hive blockchain.

Honestly, @daniky you spoke the answers to some of the issues I have at hand. Even after you conceive the idea to put down, getting it into a reasonable write up is another hurdle.
But i'll work on the items you wrote down. More power to your elbow, sire.

You may never know if you're making progress or not provided your post isn't receiving the necessary attention or feedback it ought to.

This is so true!
The issue I encounter is that offline my life is so so busy. I'm not sure how I even manage it again!
But I am making it a duty this year to be intentional and schedule a particular time for just engaging with other people's posts.

This was a super insightful post. Great one @daniky

Thank you for the awesome comment @peaq. I can understand how busy your schedules might have been. What i can only suggest is; utilise from the limited leisure moment you have to engage or better still, markup a time schedule at night to create your post and schedule your posting time on the layout settings of peakd to autopost when due. I think that will be more helpful. Or how do you see this suggestion? 🤔
