Unique Design Park - Pride of Eastern Belarus

Hello everybody! I am always attracted by unusual and creative design solutions. In addition to the incredible cascading fountain, which I talked about in the second issue of A + DPOST magazine, there is a beautiful park in Mogilev. Among the greenery and trees there are many unique elements in the form of cobblestones, gazebos and playgrounds. The combination of natural scenery and technical structures turned the Mogilev park into a place of attraction for the city's residents. This is a place that is visited not only by residents of Mogilev, but also by people from all over the country. Taking photos of the fountain, I did not miss the opportunity to enjoy every detail of the park.

It is almost impossible to find repeating elements in the Mogiles park. Be it benches, creative cobblestones or playgrounds for kids. Since the lion is a symbol of the origin of Mogilev, decorative lions can be seen in all parts of the city. The park is no exception. In Russian, Lev and Mogilev (МогиЛев - Лев) are consonant. According to legend, on the site of the modern city there was a dense forest, which was guarded by lions. But the man defeated the lions and buried them under high hills. So the name Mogilev appeared, which in Russian sounds like the Tomb of the Lion... Могилев - Могила Льва. But this is just a beautiful legend.

Moving into the depths of the park, beautiful author's cobblestones appeared in front of me. Each of them carries a specific meaning. But I believe that these cobblestones are a work of art. It takes a lot of effort and a creative mind to create an "intellectual element" from a shapeless stone. But this is my opinion.

The next element of the park that caught my attention are gazebos and benches. Obviously, when walking through the "green" park among the trees, people want to sit down and relax. Parks are a place where you can relax not only with your soul, but also with your body. But in Mogilev you can additionally enjoy the aesthetics of the surrounding natural and design reality.

But in my opinion, the main visitors who enjoy visiting Mogilev Park are children. Many playgrounds are built for children to enjoy. The trend is that the younger generation tend to spend time in the virtual world, and the surrounding reality does not seem attractive to them. The designers of the Mogilev park tried to create the most interesting and creative playgrounds for children. This is not only for the children, but also for their parents. Physical activity is health.

I like the fact that the park is divided into themed areas. Every person, regardless of age, can find something to their liking in this beautiful place. Children will play and use playgrounds. Adults will admire their contented children. Elderly people will be able to spend time in the air and get peace and tranquility. Tourists like me can see the bustling life around and enjoy the park's many interesting features.

When visiting the Mogilev park, my original goal was its main element - a cascading fountain. But in addition to the beautiful engineering and architectural element, I discovered a green oasis filled with many amazing things. The modern park of the ancient city plunges into the atmosphere of the harmony of nature, architecture and man. This is a great place to recharge with natural forces.
