Seeing this topic actually brought up a funny memory about myself when I was young and every time I remember, I just can't stop laughing about how childish all those involved in that incident are but it's something that still happens these days too which I consider a childish behavior.

I'm actually not the cutest guy or the one from a rich family among the guys we grew up together but one way or the other, it was easy for me to snatch a girlfriend from them. This is actually a very funny story and I'm laughing already but just sit tight and enjoy this.
This happened when I was between 11-13 years old and it happened at one of our birthday celebrations. I grew up in a street where all of us were in the same age group.

When we moved into the neighborhood, their ways were kind of strange to me. Every boy had a girl he referred to as his girlfriend and I had no desire to have one at that time. We celebrate every festive period and what I mean by celebrating is that we do bring out speakers, play music, cook, buy drinks, and dance till a late hour.
It was fun until one day when one of us was celebrating his birthday and we gathered just like we always do to come to celebrate with him. It was snacks and drink so I helped in sharing snack to the guest. While I was doing that, one of my friends ate my snacks but it didn't bother me.

While I was sitting enjoying the music one of the girls who happens to be the girlfriend of one of my friends came to sit beside me while eating her snacks. She asked if I have eaten and I said no, I explained what happened so she offered me her snack which I rejected.
She insisted and while I was about to take it, she said she wants to put it in my mouth herself which doesn't mean anything to me but I didn't know it was the wrong thing to do.

Then after the weekend which the party happened, we all had to go to school. We all attended separate schools and after we were back home from school, I saw the boyfriend of the girl that offered me snacks and waved at him but he ignored me and that was how it started.
Before I knew what was going on, the feel also started ignoring me then the girls did the same thing because their boyfriend instructed them to and because I also said no to one of their friends who asked me out.

The whole street turned their back on me and I was left alone with no friend. I didn't bother asking what happened because it was obvious I just stick to my house, no more parties for me, at first I was a bit worried but later I felt I wasn't at fault there.
It went on for at least 3 years and I also took that opportunity to make friends outside my hood, when they would realize what they did was wrong it was too late already because I wasn't needing any friends anymore, the rejection really made me strong and made realize that it not a must I have friends though it might be boring ever since then I started enjoying my own company and loved myself more.

We all later started talking but it didn't feel like before and the funniest part was that all their relationships collapse at the end which I was happy though, lol.
